Stayed couple of nights with friends to attend shows at Barclay stadium. Close to 36 street subway. Fine hotel with good linens, clean and a bit of breakfast. I would go back. Noise was never an issue. Few parking places in the back.
The Hotel name I think was changed to L Hotel? Well at least that's what it said on the outside. The hotel overall was nice, checkin in was smooth, the rooms were clean but small. Really gives you that "it's a budget hotel/minimalistic" vibe. The free breakfast was very basic consisted only of bagels, cereals and muffins. No hot food. I would not mind staying here again, since the hotel overall was not bad.
Let me start by saying the room was clean. This room was across the hall from the breakfast area, the walls were sooo thin we could hear everything, and I mean everyting going on in the kitchen, the hallway, the upstairs lobby. The room was extreamly small and cramped. The breakfast offered was terrible even the coffee was gross. Parking was available, spaces were very tight. Will not stay here ever again.
This hotel is disgusting! Filthy room! Rotten produce! Dirty rags and trash in potted plants! Paint splashed all over the place. Toothpaste splash uncleaned on bathroom wall! We slept above the covers fully clothed! Dust and grime everywhere! Soap scum on the show rod cover from last occupants! Spill of milk all over refrigerator and was not cleaned. Below the belt hairs all over! Board of health should be notified! Choice hotels did not care at all! Over thirty pics taken of the disgustingness! Not worth $20 let alone $140 a night!
This is clearly a budget hotel. It's very small and feels cramped. The rooms are small and dark. Bathrooms are OK. The hotel staff feels disorganized and often leave the front desk The elevator jumps and makes strange sounds. Feels unsafe I would not stay here again
