I spent three nights at Serenity Guest House and could not have been happier. I stayed in the En Suite and it was like the perfect apartment. A sun room with a futon, cafe table, and tv (I had coffee and got some work done in the mornings); a beautiful bath a claw foot tub, and a huge master bedroom...

The house is a late Victorian brick fronted property, not a Brownstone. There is no TV but free Wi Fi The neighbourhood feels safe and the location relatively quite; you will off course get cars honking into the night but that's NYC. Its easy to get to the subway which has a direct route, Q line, into Manhattan Some OK...

Zenobia provides a very pleasant home in a very real and vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood. She is interesting, helpful, pleasant, and a joy to interact with. The classic Brooklyn brownstone has comfortable rooms and is well located just a few blocks from the subway. The many restaurants in the neighborhood are not fancy, but offer better food than any fancy restaurant...

First time staying in Brooklyn on our visits to NYC and we were hoping for the chance to experience a real brownstone stay in a regular neighborhood. Serenity hit the marks. Lovely neighborhood, special brownstone with an owner that is there to help you. We spent 8 nights at Serenity and it provided us the quiet and relaxing escape after...

Zenobia is the perfect host, who is warm hearted, really interested in her guests and always willing to offer help. She invited us to her backyard barbecue with her family and gave us tips about upcoming events in the neighbourhood.

I had such a great time at Serenity@home!! Zenobia is a very friendly, warm-hearted woman, she really made me feel at home from the first minute. The house is beautiful and cosy, the rooms are clean and well-decorated. The bed is super, it's like sleeping in your own bed at home, nice sheets and a good mattress. The breakfast is...

We've finally got around to write a review of our stay 'chez Zernobia' ... We wanted, as is our habit, every time we're in NY, to spend a few days hanging out in Brooklyn (one of our favourite parts of New York) pretending to be a locals before heading into Manhattan where we had a week of non-stop business meetings...

Thx to Zenobia that runs this little 4 room "hotel home" only 20 min. away from downtown Manhattan. It's so nice to stay in Brooklyn when you visit NYC. It's a good contrast to the noise and fast beat of Manhattan. All ready books for the whole family this summer.
