We've stayed here a couple of times and love that the Hoxton has a co-working-friendly lobby and restaurant with tasty options. We were able to get a reasonably priced room, though be warned - they tend to be small rooms for the most part. Given that, I do enjoy the efficient furnishings of the room. The bed has drawers that fits a carry-on which really helps because there isn't a closet but instead a valet/coat rack. I find the bathroom to be a bit awkward, bits of the shower are starting to wear, and there's a lack of place to keep toiletries of your own. (Theirs by the way are nothing special but at least smells good.) The bathroom is definitely the least impressive part of the property. Often the front desk staff are a bit off in their own world (and therefore a bit

We stayed on the recommendation of our adult children who live in Greenpoint and also travel widely internationally. They hadn’t stayed at this Hoxton but recommended it based on the experiences with the hotel group in other countries. The hotel was supposedly following strict Covid guidelines- common areas closed bar closed restaurant on limited service masks required everywhere. The first thing I noticed on entering our room was the mildew smell of a space that had not been aired out in a while. We turned on the AC to act as an air filter. Going to us the bathroom, I found my hand sticking to the metal door pull. I took a washcloth and hot water and cleaned filth from the handle. Then I found debris from previous occupants on the floor next to my bed. On further

I have lived in the Williamsburg area for 10 years and have been wanting to try the boutique hotels in the area. In my research the Hoxton had the most availability with the luxury that I was looking for.

Small rooms with very limited closet space. Attached bar was nice with friendly and efficient staff. The hotel mask requirements were rigid but the lobby area just outside the reception area had no such requirements. Weird. The free bottled water was very nice to have. The coffee bar was a plus in the morning. Not bad for the price. Nice area. No daily room cleaning and when we requested a cleaning, the crew left our door unlocked. Reception staff was very friendly though.

Hi Nancy D, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback! We are thrilled to hear that our staff was able to assist you during your stay and that you were able to take full advantage of our amenities. Our mask policy is whenever you're walking in public areas, a mask is required. However, at the restaurant or in the lobby when you are seated, a mask is not required with proof of vaccination. Unfortunately, due to Covid housekeeping is not able to go into the room everyday, thus room cleaning only being on request. We apologies for the inconvenience caused due to our Covid policies, and hope to host you again soon!
