This hotel was a great location for us because it was near our daughter's apartment. Stayed at this hotel because we'd stayed at the Hoxton Chicago and the bar and general vibe there was great. When they say a room is cozy they really mean cozy. Tight for 2 people. Our room layout was strange in that the bathroom had a glass door and there was a mirror placed on the wall in such a location that anyone on the bed could see into the bathroom. Due to the room size it was almost unavoidable. AWKWARD! And weird. The bar and lobby area are dead. On the plus side the staff could not be friendlier.. They are so nice and helpful. The rate for the room was pretty good too.

We stayed here for 4 nights to attend a family wedding. The hotel is was really great, clean, great location, great vibe. Room was on the small side, but was expected and they do a great job with in room storage options. We found out room very comfortable. The hotel does not offer breakfast and the rooftop was not open even though we had some nice weather. These two factors is what kept me from rating this hotel a 5.

The bar should be opne later on Sunday's. People like to end thier weekend later than 4pm. would be nice if the rooftop bar was open as well. Also some Splenda in addition to Stevia at the coffee bar.

I have stayed in two of the other Williamsburg hotels that are in close walking distance, and much more expensive, and I thought this one was much better. I was traveling alone this time so I chose the "cozy" room, which was definitely small, but fine for just me. What I really liked about it was it is extremely well thought out. There is a spot for everything. Light switches and outlets next to the bed, a desk with outlets to work or put on makeup, a full length mirror with outlets nearby, big drawers with a safe under the bed, a hanging area with a drawer, shelves to place things, hooks near the door for coats, bags or towels, an electric kettle to make tea or coffee, a hook outside the door for umbrellas, and a hand shower and overhead shower, and a decent hairdryer.
