I selected this hotel due to budget constraints. The room was tiny, without basic amenities. The walls are thin and not noise isolated, so I knew exactly what my neighbors were doing. The location is excellent - lots of bars, restaurants, buses and subway near by. If you can afford something better, do it

Horrible hotel. Dirty facilities. Sheets were stained and dirty and floor was disgusting. Extremely loud and noisy. Walls are paper thin and the hotel is full of partygoers who are loud and partying all night. Would not ever recommend.

This place looks like someone stayed at the Ace Hotel once and tried to re-create it from memory with only stuff available at Wal Mart. I was willing to overlook this, but this hotel stay quickly went from bad to disastrous. PROS: -Across the street from the subway -Very comfortable bed and (only slightly soiled) sheets -Two of the three front desk people were very nice CONS: -I found a hole from my room into the next room. (?!?!) -People (plural) with keys (plural) entered my rooms (plural) in the middle of the night. The second woman who walked in on me was given keys to three occupied rooms in the middle of the night before they finally upgraded her to a vacant suite. -It's impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom (even after I was moved into a second room with a shower door. Still floods.) -Bathrooms are filthy. Rings of grease around the sink. Showers are missing some tile and gunk is filling up in those spaces. -New towels are always damp. -Drilling at the construction site next door starts at 7 a.m. -One unfriendly front desk person (who may have just been grumpy that I woke him up from his afternoon nap) -Whole place reeks of pot smoke. Multiple reviews mention this. Seriously, how much pot is smoked here?! -Burn marks in the sink. -The cheap TVs are the worst. Takes like 20 seconds to turn on and like 8 seconds to change one channel. -Can't spit toothpaste in the sink. There's a shelf in the way. -Stains on the sheets and towels. -Very thin walls. -No fridge. No microwave. No trash can. No cups. No ironing board. No iron. -No way to open or close the windows (so if they're whistling and slightly ajar, sorry). -Left some clothes on the bed and housekeeping made the bed on top of them. I suppose that's a little funny. -Couldn't leave the hotel on the first morning until they carried someone out on a stretcher (though that's not really their fault, and hopefully he's okay). -Email address on the parent company's help page doesn't work. -Once I was able to get ahold of someone, they offered me 5,000 Choice points—maybe $25 in credit, that I can use once I earn or buy enough points to pay for a full night on my own.

I really want to like this hotel. It’s well located for my needs so I can do most things by foot in park slope. Unfortunately it’s a looser. Despite some wonderful views from the upper rooms the design and functionality are terrible. This place was designed my morons and it’s minimalist design is so poorly done it is already falling apart. This place is new and the tile is all delaminating in the bath. Furniture is thrift store. The clientele is a mix of middle class travelers and people motivated by price only and consequently during my stays there were middle of the night noise issues with wake ups from loud adjacent rooms and on a separate night staff visits looking for which room the smoking was in. No services of any kind
