I have been staying at Hotel Le Jolie for years. I love the staff and my room is always clean and the bed is very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very nice and clean. I prefer smaller boutique hotels and Hotel Le Jolie is just that. I love that every time I visit I feel like I am returning to old friends.
The hotel is fine. Location is decent but right next to a highway so you’ll hear the traffic noise all night. It is near several subway stations so convenient there. The AC rattled and made noises all night too. The shower only has a rain head from the ceiling so if you’re trying to not get your hair wet yet still clean yourself it’s a lot of work. Someone was smoking on our floor and so the hall and our room smelled like smoke one night. The staff is nice and breakfast spread is good!
The room was tiny which wouldn't have been bad if the shower drained properly. Since the entire bathroom would have water on the floor, the entire room stayed damp with it being so small. Climbing in the sheets felt like that hadn't been dried all the way after washing. The AC unit worked but did not make it cool enough. The staff as extremely nice and if you're looking for something low budget, its not terrible but I personally wouldn't stay here again because of the shower problem alone.
The staff at this hotel were friendly and accommodating. I was impressed by the personalized service I received at the front desk plus, the rest of the hotel staff were friendly which made me feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The hotel was close to McCarren Park and conveniently located near the subway. I won't stay anywhere else in Williamsburg.
Visited NYC to see friends and work. Very happy I chose this hotel. The rooms are clean like you'd expect and functional, but in addition the staff are extremely kind and accommodating! Staff went out of their way while I was there to be helpful. Also not far from public transit. If you need a place to crash in the city, this is it!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Le Jolie, and found the location very convenient and the parking a huge plus. The staff with whom we interacted were all very accommodating and helpful, and helped us with stowing our luggage when we arrived well ahead of check-in. Our room was modern and updated with a large screen tv and refrigerator, and was very comfortable.
I had a last minute change to my travel plans and I was in a bit of bind. The general manager of this hotel was very accommodating and helped me out. He made what was a stressful situation much more manageable and I really appreciate it!
My second time staying at this hotel. Wonder staff and clean rooms. Also a great location that is close to several bagel/coffee shops, the train, and other great restaurants in general. I highly recommend Hotel Le Jolie.
This was my second time staying at Hotel Le Jolie. What a convenient location and easy to walk to restaurants and the water. The rooms are clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. A major plus for this hotel is the free on-site parking and complimentary breakfast in the morning. Hotel Le Jolie provided a great home base for us to explore the music and consignment scene of the neighborhood. We also biked into Manhattan to explore some more. The staff is welcoming and at night there is a doorman, even though we never felt unsafe in the neighborhood.
I was surprised at how quiet the room was as it is next to a freeway. I could not hear any traffic! I loved the comfortable bed and pillows and the cleanliness of the entire room. Having free water bottles was a bonus. The room was small and without a comfortable sitting/reading chair but otherwise was just right and efficient. it reminded me of a hotel where I stayed in Paris. I enjoyed the breakfast and especially the coffee. The staff was welcoming and courteous. The location was excellent with restaurants and subway close by. I will definitely stay again on my visits to Brooklyn and recommend it to friends.
