Stayed there on a pre-cruise tour with Celebrity on June24-25. It's an apartment-like room with a kitchen, bedroom and living room. They had 1 air conditioner in the bedroom and it was more than sufficient...even though it was 93 degrees in Fairbanks those days....Very clean and the staff was extremely pleasant. Can walk to food stores so it was great...

We stayed here for two nights with a Royal Caribbean cruisetour. What a great place to stay! We really enjoyed the location--so close to Fred Meyer (like a WalMart), grocery store, and fast food places. Our room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. And, we had a living room and a full kitchen. We kept some fruit, snacks in the...

We are spending two months in Alaska and mostly camping. We had errands and car work to be done in Fairbanks and stayed three nights at Sophie. It was perfect. Kitchen allowed us to save some money on restaurants. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was fantastic. The salt water taffy basket at the front desk was...

This was our fist hotel during our Royal Caribbean post-cruise land tour. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It does not look much from the outside and seems a bit dated but the rooms and the service more than make up for it. This is more like an appart-hotel with 1 bedroom and a full kitchen adjoining the living...

I have stayed here many times and this is a great place to stay. It is far from fancy but it has large clean rooms, friendly staff, a full kitchen in the room(suite), nice comfortable lounge, very good restaurant, and a great location. I really like that you can easily walk to Safeway or Fred Meyers in about 5 mins....

We stayed here two nights at the beginning of our land tour, prior to a cruise. Although we booked our land tour independently, several cruise lines, including ours (Celebrity) used this hotel as well. We saw them in the lobby holding introductory meetings. The service was great, everyone from the shuttle driver, the front desk and the restaurant staff. The...

I stayed here on business for a week and they have everything you could need, walking distance to grocery store, fast food and full kitchen to cook in. Rest. a little on the $$$$ side but staff was great. Evening front desk was the best. Don't forget to grab a few taffy candies on your way out. Shuttle service is only...

They call them suites, but apartments might be more appropriate. Our room(s) included a living room, full kitchen, separate bedroom and bath. It was huge! The beds were comfortable and the linens clean. The bedroom had its own flat-screen TV for viewing from the beds. The bath, with tub/shower was large and clean. All the fixtures were modern and worked...

I stayed here for 6 nights last week and I was quite impressed. First, loved the location - about 3 miles from the airport and just down the street from the University. Two full scale grocery stores are nearby, along with gas stations. There is a large parking lot and although you don’t absolutely need a car here it’s best...

We just returned from a great time in Fairbanks and Sophie Station was a great place to stay!! The front desk staff, including Kevin was courteous, attentive and top notch! We ate breakfast every morning at Zach’s and the food was always presented well and good, especially the blue berry pancakes! The staff in the restaurant was great! My only...
