We loved our time at the basecamp. The igloos are truly a unique stay. They have everything you need except a refrigerator (but it was easy to keep drinks cold by putting them outside). We stayed in igloo 15 for two nights. It is the last one so it’s a little hike to the lodge but we liked that. We did get to see the borealis on the first night. It was amazing. The reindeer meet and greet was fun and the guide was very good. The dog sledding was really cool, another unique experience. Our guide was wonderful. The food on the first night was very good. The ravioli was one of the best I’ve ever had. I had the steak the second night and to be honest it wasn’t that good. Half of it was fat. To be fair I didn’t complain about it and think if I would have they would have made it right. Sometimes you just get a bad cut of meat. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. We took the group shuttle there and a private shuttle when we left and both drivers were great. This place was truly amazing. I would highly recommend.

Borealis Basecamp delivered everything they advertised and more. The Igloos are great, the Aurora Borealis was incredible and the staff was wonderful, caring and helpful. Lots of great activities available and the restaurant served excellent dishes. There are other adventures we have to get off our bucket list, but this is definitely someplace we’d like to revisit.

Igloo was warm, comfy, and roomy, staff was friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING. Continental breakfast had fresh out of the oven muffins. Each room has an alarm to notify you when the northern lights are out.

On a ten day adventure through Alaska! Borealis Basecamp has been an enchanting treat. Great staff and food! Dogsledding and snowmobiling were highlights! The beds are extremely comfortable. Very warm igloos. Although the Northern lights were elusive we completely enjoyed our few days here. Probably very romantic too! I came with my friend! So bah! Lol. #kimysworld

Everything about Borealis Basecamp is top notch; the 'igloos' with their viewing windows and their amazingly comfy beds, to the staff, the chef, and the activities offered. Every detail has been thought of. Between the stunning location, the amenities, the activities, and the wonderful staff, this was by far the best vacation experience we've ever had. Can't wait to come back!
