This place ended up being much nicer than I thought it would be. The staff here was all extremely friendly and helpful and our suite came with all amenities we needed. It was a little dated, but this is Alaska... What isn't dated here? My only negative is that I was hoping there was more wildlife on the trails, as... More

We stayed here our first night of a guided tour. It was a condo like setting, very roomy. Staff will drive you around back and forth in the golf cart, and there's a shuttle next door that takes you around town.

Positives and negatives. Positives: huge space, full apartment, 3 new flatscreen TVs, convenient location. Negatives: No elevator. Must cart your luggage up three flights of stairs. Very dated. Apartment was built during the construction of the Pipeline. It still smelled like the '70's. Really.

This is a nice setting. Good place to walk around. The restaurant at the bear lodge was good. However the room was old and needs redone. Also my room smelled musty. It was ok but I would recommend some room updating and the the hotel could be at the top of the list.

Our family was enjoying our 'once in a lifetime experience' at this wonderful property. The grounds are beautiful and our son really enjoyed the antique cars. Unfortunately, our encounter with a certain staff spoiled the stay. Very rude and insulting. Maybe she was just having a bad day? After the 'encounter' we asked her to identify herself but she refused.... More

I rented a two bedroom suite for 10 days so that my sister had a place to recover after emergency surgery while she was in Alaska. For these purposes the place was good. It was a two bedroom apartment that was built during the pipeline construction heyday and now is a hotel. The cooking facilities are adequate although somewhat sparsely... More

This is a huge resort, with own museum, forest trail and daily cultural info tour, shuttle bus to town. Inside each, room it is very very spacious even for double occupancy - a full size kitchen, huge living room, moderate dining room, and we had a balcony facing the forest in the north, just perfect for our Northern Light watching... I have never stayed here before and cannot speak for all of the rooms but mine was dirty and smelled like I was staying in an ash tray. The room reeked so bad I opened all of the windows the entire time I was there just to try and reduce the stench of cigarettes. The complex is huge and the... More

We stayed here as part of our Norwegian Cruise and Land Tour. We were surprised since it's a one bedroom apartment. We stayed in Building K. It's clean but needs an updating in the décor...my daughter who stayed next door said "they're stuck in the 70s". I must admit my first impression was not good due to the décor but... More

This is the second time I have stayed here over the years and I have been quite happy with Wedgewood both times. Stayed in building J on the second floor this time. It's about twelve steps up to the second floor and there is no elevator. If you will require an elevator request a room or suite on the first... More
