Booked this with IHG points before starting cruise. Location wonderful. Shuttle and driver on time/friendly. Elevator up to par. Breakfast satisfactory. Local recommendations were on-track.
Did transmit quite a bit of noise, but there were 2 little league teams staying there. :(
This Holiday Inn is situated near almost everything. The highway to most tourist destinations (Arctic Circle, Alyeska Pipeline photo area, etc.) is very accessible. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well as stores (Barnes & Noble, GAP, Ulta, etc.).
The hotel's rates may be quite steep in the summer months. However, the 15.000 IHG points is an amazing deal. Alaska is such an awesome place to be that we did not really spend much time in the hotel. I remember breakfast being very good...More

This hotel, as of April 2015, had two clothes washers and dryers. If I remember right, they we located on the second floor and both the washers and dryers cost $1.00USD per load. The front desk sold detergent.
