We have been staying at the Richard Johnston Inn in Fredericksburg, VA for years and love it. It's in the heart of the Old Town with shops and restaurants. The visitor's center is across the street. Bonnie the Inn keeper has a great breakfast and a smile. There's off street parking in the rear of the Inn as well as... More

My husband and I stayed here for a birthday celebration. Easy to find, excellent location right on Caroline Street and lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. Parking is plentiful behind the building. The decor is lovely with a large armoire for clothing. We had a room ensuite so had our own bath. Very comfortable queen bed and our... More

I'm not one for frills and, when I travel, I desire a certain degree of "alone time" to read or relax. I could not have stayed at a better place... Staying in accommodations other than our own homes never seems to have that familiar air conducive to real comfort; that just seems to be the natural order of things. Having... More

We stayed here for four nights while attending our son's college graduation. There were 5 people in our party and Bonny and her staff were very helpful and accomodating to include providing needle and thread for me to repair my son's graduation gown which had been chewed up by my son's roomates dog!!!! The breakfasts were excellent and we really... More

The innkeeper and her assistants were friendly and accommodating, the room was very comfortable and the food delicious. It was a relaxed atmosphere with the guests and the staff. Of course, the location was superb for visiting the town. Thank you, Nancy and Stephen Shoemaker

This was my first time going to a B&B and it definitely won't be my last. Loved the homey touches like fresh backed chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Bonnie and staff were really professional but sweet. There's also something for everyone to do from historic tours to shopping!

We loved staying at the Richard Johnston Inn in downtown historic Fredericksburg. It's walking distance to many great restaurants and historical sites. Bonney, the Inn Keeper, does a wonderful job of making your visit special. We especially liked the wine and cheese offering in the evening and the opportunity to get to know the other guests. Breakfast was delicious and... More

The Richard Johnston Inn is my preferred place to stay when in Fredericksburg. The historic B & B is located in the best place in town, right in downtown. Free parking too! Bonnie, the innkeeper, made my time there delightful for my entire stay. I was wanting for nothing. She made me feel more than welcome, but also knew just... More
