We stayed for our anniversary and upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger room. The staff is very polite and not smothering. Breakfast was very good and the staff member that morning was helpful in aiding our day plans. The home itself it was you would expect from a time period piece and that made it all the better!

What a beautiful location and an extremely well kept Inn. The living rooms downstairs for guests are immaculate and beautiful and well decorated. Christmas was everywhere! The Breakfasts were delicious with a spacious dining room that all of the guests lingered in chatting with new friends. The rooms were as well decorated and comfortable with a comfortable 4 posted canopy bed. Good WIFI also throughout. Staff was accommodating of a need to refrigerate medicine. Would definitely return in the future!

My husband and I have stayed at so many incredible B&Bs that we've had trouble choosing which one is our favorite. Last night's stay here changed that. We stayed in the Virginia Room and were greeted with a friendly check-in, bourbon and chocolates in the room, an immaculately clean room and ensuite bathroom, and just such a cozy feel. Breakfast was outstanding! Plenty of games and DVDs to watch, fresh-baked goodies at night, bottled water, free parking in the back lot. We really struggle finding anything to complain about with our stay here. It's the little touches that made it all that much better. This B&B is in the heart of Old Town FXBG, next to all of the shope and restaurants. We will be returning soon!

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. The place was expensive— more than I’ve paid at B&B’s in much larger cities— so we had high hopes. Boy were we disappointed. To start, no one was at the front desk to check us in (5 pm) so we had to wait for 20 minutes. Then we were shown our room— which looked OK, though we had to walk across a shared hallway to use the bathroom. The room was also quite loud, as we heard noise from a bar outside at night. When we checked in we told the staff that my girlfriend was vegetarian, and they said they would be happy to accommodate her at breakfast. But the servers the next morning were oblivious, serving her sausage with a sugary pastry. When she said she was vegetarian, they said “ok”— no apology— and simply removed the sausage (they didn’t make her anything else). She had to get another breakfast after we left. The one thing I will say on behalf of the inn is that it’s in the heart of town, so very accessible. Other than that, a deeply disappointing visit. We won’t be back.

Thank you very much for your review of your recent stay at our Inn. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. I greatly appreciate your comments about your arrival. We are a small bed and breakfast and the time that you arrived our staff was checking in another guest located at our other property. We do have two rooms that the bathroom is located across the hall. We do our best for our guests to be aware. If you booked online it states the bathroom is separate: queen size bed in a lovely rose colored room overlooking the courtyard with a full, private bath with tub and shower combination located across the hall. We can't recall taking the sausage away and not giving an apology or seeing what else your girlfriend would like. We do serve fruit and yogurt prior to the main course or would of course give her another portion of the pastry that was served for breakfast. As you stated we are located downtown and occasionally some of the local bars/restaurants have bands. I would love to discuss your stay further if you would like to give us a call directly. We would like for you to give us another try.

We stayed in the Loft and could not have been more delighted. On arrival to the house after a long drive through traffic we were greeted with low lighting, soft music, gorgeous decor and home made treats. The room itself was divine with comfy lounge furniture, shiny clean bathroom and the most wonderful bed up a set of stairs. We had a quick meal down the road then relaxed on the lounge with tv, books and complimentary liqueur. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and check out was relaxed giving us time to poke around local shops. Highly recommend this property and will definitely return
