We stayed at the Kenmore B&B for one night in mid-August in the Ville de Frejus room. Overall it was perfect for a short romantic getaway from DC. The historical ambience was good in the room and hotel itself. There was also plenty of information provided on sites to visit in Fredericksburg all within easy walking distance. I highly recommend... More

We stayed in a large room in the original main house, with a wood-burning fireplace and a nice en suite bathroom. It felt like we were staying in a friend's home-- very relaxed and comfortable. Indeed, it is exactly how they represent themselves on their website-- the rooms are not huge, but they are warm and cozy; the bar and... More

The food was great, the help was great, the historic is very interesting but the place needs a lot of work. The stair railing is very dangerous, one day it is going to give when someone uses it for support. Our blinds were very old and didn't work although it shows the windows open in the photo. The chair in... More

Go ahead and book a room here, and then hope that they do not cancel you. We booked a room for two nights which the Kenmore confirmed. They then canceled out the second night "Because a wedding party wants all nine rooms". Our other choices in Fberg were then booked. Honorable people keep their word. These are not honorable people.... More

While we try to accommodate each of our guests, this particular situation which upset this reviewer literally happened based on the following. He booked his room, for a Friday night in May of 2016. He called and asked for a second night, we reserve the right to hold rooms for our weddings that are held here on many weekends and... More

The staff at the inn are well trained and VERY pleasant and helpful. It was no problem for them to take our bulky suitcases up the imposing outer steps and inner staircase to our charming room. We had been upgraded to a room with a king sized bed and a bathroom with a combination soaking tub/shower. The bed was wonderful,... More

From beginning to end, Jacqueline Hartman and her thoughtful staff, attended to the details of our wedding reception, making it organized, magical and a memorable night for all. Our guests from near (Littlepage Street) and as far (as Hawaii), felt both welcome and comfortable in the heart of historical Fredericksburg. Beautiful rooms, elegant spaces, and of course delicious food made it... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the inn while visiting family in town. The inn itself is absolutely beautiful! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is to die for!!!!!! Our room was very nice. Despite there being no ac because it is a historical home, we were still comfortable thanks to the window ac... More

This is the Best bed & breakfast inn ever. We traveled cross-country from California to Virginia and stayed here for a week. All the staff are now my new friends. They treated us like family. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The food was wonderful, thanks to their chef Jackie. The location to town is a short walk away.... More
