Nice hotel. Maid stopped by every day. Hudson Grill was enjoyable. They were able to occomodate my vegan diet. They did charge me an extra $12 per night when I checked in. So much for the reduced price through Trip Advisor. That was a surprise.

Our family of 5 stayed on Saturday night(3-16-24), My daughter & son in law booked the room here because it was near where my grandson had a gymnastics meet. When we arrived to our room(#324)we were greeted by some unwanted guests(Ants) crawling on the windowsill & on the heating/air-conditioning unit, we immediately called the front desk & they sent up a maintenance guy who looked at the issue & let us know that they would take care of the issue either by moving us to another room or getting traps set out, he said he would check with the desk & let us know which he did, when he came back he said that sadly moving us wasn't an option & the spray they normally use wasn't an option either because it was "hazardous & smells bad" so someone was going to run out & get some traps, about 30 mins. later the man came & sprayed the room(not sure what happened to getting traps?) The man apologized for the ant problem & said that it had never been an issue before but I'm not sure I believe that...Let's just say our stay here was less then enjoyable! No one asked how are stay was but I sure wished they would have!!!

This place is lacking in customer service and amenities. We stayed for two nights over Christmas because we have family in Vancouver. We had two rooms. They never cleaned our rooms despite one of the housekeepers watching us leave our rooms. We tried to get breakfast and were told no - the restaurant was booked all day, room service was suspended and take out was also suspended. I have never heard of a hotel not making arrangements to make sure its actual guests can eat. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it has a restaurant and we have children. It would have been nice to be informed at check in that no food would be available. Then they charged us an amenities fee of $35 per room which was never disclosed when we made the reservation. The front desk was not helpful and borderline rude. The place looks tired and the beds are very hard. Will not stay here again.

I'll follow up with the team to make sure we do a better job in the future of letting our guests know at check in. We'll use your feedback as a training opportunity for our employees and business as a whole. Once again, my apologies on the issues you faced while at our hotel. We had a wonderful stay at the Heathman Lodge this past weekend. We came for a Christmas party for my husbands company and brought the family with us. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was adorable. Felt like we had a whole cabin to ourselves. We had a wonderful time. The Christmas party was also a great time. The restaurant was also fabulous we had some great drinks there and delicious food. This lodge is in a great area with a HUGE mall and lots of shopping and dining options.

This was our third time staying here and it’s a great place. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a huge balcony. There is a pool, hot tub, large gym with a sauna. There is a restaurant called Hudsons. We had breakfast there on our last visit and it was good. The only thing was we were not aware that you had to request house keeping prior to check in. The hotel is in a great location. The mall was s across the street, with many restaurants, there is a shopping center close by that has a Starbucks, crumbl cookie, and a TJ Max We enjoyed our stay here. We will be staying here again.

We had a senior traveling softball tournament in Vancouver and had stayed at the Heathman previously. We were thrilled they made room at Hudsons for the team dinner. Our rooms were all excellent as was the great service everywhere! Our dining room wait person Shea could not have been more accommodating and perfect. The Halibut, Meatloaf, and Wayzu Burgers were standouts with our group!

I stayed here one night on a road trip with my pre-school aged son. We checked in without issue and the room was clean (although a cleaning person left behind a few rags…). Pool was quite cold despite being billed as heated, but we got used to it. I’d stay here again, but wouldn’t necessarily choose it above other area 2.5-3 star hotels.

We stayed at the Heathman for 3 nights, 4 days for a wedding we were attending and had multiple disappointing experiences. At first glance, the lodge is very inviting. Check in area is a bit confusing as the outside dining is in the area of where you would normally drive up to check in and then park. Beautiful exterior, plenty of parking, restaurant on-site, close proximity to businesses but with basic rooms, poor housekeeping, and careless management. My original booking was for a king bed. 1 month prior to my arrival I changed my reservation to a double queen and when I checked into my room there was a king bed. Thankfully they were able to get me a double bed room to accommodate the 2nd person joining me a few days later but never mentioned it was a pet friendly room. I called immediately as my room smelled like a wet dog. I love dogs and have 2 dogs of my own but I don’t want dog hair all over the top of my cover sheet. I was given an apology and offered air freshner… I responded no, I would like a clean room and was replied with this is the only room available with 2 queens. I asked if the 4th floor room I had was a different rate than the 1st floor pet room and was told no. I’m not a very confrontational person so defeated I said ok thank you and got off the phone. The pool was nice and refreshing with exterior seating as well. I was able to make it finally to the pool just shy of 9:30pm. Promptly at 9:50 (The pool closes at 10) a male staff member came in and started picking everyone’s things up around the pool stating let’s go. Pool is closed. Please grab your things and go. Then stared at everyone… a little weird. We packed up our things and left. The restaurant dining was nice. Good food and drinks. A little long wait time but I understand short staffing. Waiters were very nice and courteous. Saturday, I called for the bride’s room to made over prior to the wedding and was told no. I was like the note in the room says to call the front desk if you would like your room made over?? She responds that unfortunately we are short staffed so if time allows, we can. A little thrown back by this I responded I’m not asking for myself or multiple rooms… I’m asking for the bride who has spent $10K+ on this venue to have her bed made up prior to her wedding. Can I pay for these services? The Front desk attendant responded no we’ll do our best. The wedding coordinator never showed for rehearsal or at all for the wedding. The wedding podium stand that was in the way during rehearsal was never removed for the wedding ceremony the following day as was requested. Champagne was never brought out to anyone for wedding toasts. Salads were brought out 2 hours after “said dinner time” with no dressing. After multiple complaints being heard from tables around me I politely went in the back and asked if there was dressing I could pass out to the tables as people were eating salads with no dressing and complaining. I was advised the dressing was taking a while as it had to come from the other side of the hotel in the main kitchen….oook…. Good thing this wasn’t a planned event. Later during the reception, music playing, I’m standing by a table with a bottle of water in my hand and the catering guy comes up to me aggressively stating he has already told my husband and me there is no liquor to be in here. 1. The drink on the table was not mine. 2. That was not my husband he spoke to. 3. I’m not married and either way that’s not how you approach anyone. He was absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful. When I brought It up to the front desk the following day I was told “oh yeah I’m pretty sure I know who you’re talking about” My room was never discounted as I was told it would be I never received a call back from any management after multiple attempts to talk to someone during my stay or calls in after my departure. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. You may have offered nice accommodations in the past but you have failed to uphold a single worthy star for your lodge.

The past seven days at the Heathman Lodge have been nothing short of an appalling travesty, a complete inversion of the hospitality industry's very ethos. As a family visiting from Georgia, reuniting with Washington after a long hiatus of seven years, we anticipated a warm and heartening welcome. Instead, we found ourselves battling the ghosts of cleanliness and basic amenities every single day. The room we were allocated was more like a chamber of disappointment rather than a haven for relaxation. Our days were dotted with calls to the front desk, pleading for items that should be commonplace in any decent hotel - towels, shampoo, soap. It felt like we were engaged in a daily tug of war just to maintain the fundamental aspects of our stay. Yet, the housekeeping situation was simply the tip of the iceberg. Heathman Lodge, with a sense of casual indifference that remains unbelievable, announced the non-availability of housekeeping services over the weekend. However, the truth was a far bitter pill - the housekeeping was an elusive entity, its existence only materializing when specifically invoked. Our seven-day stay saw the presence of housekeeping merely once, creating an experience that felt less like a vacation and more like a self-service hostel. If the lack of basic amenities was not enough, we were greeted with an uninvited room party of ants, marching cheerfully on the ceiling, as if they, unlike us, were having the time of their lives. The front desk was apprised of this peculiar ceiling decor, but their solution was as non-existent as their housekeeping. In a feat of degradation that was almost impressive, we discovered mold, nature's unwelcome graffiti, in the shower. In an echo of their already displayed apathy, the hotel's response was to have the front desk personnel - as untrained in professional cleaning as one might expect - scrub the shower. There was no cleaning staff available, adding yet another notch to the belt of their startling incompetence. Our memories of the Heathman Lodge, once a place we loved during our previous life in Washington, have been replaced by a narrative of negligence, decay, and frustration. What used to be a cherished spot is now a haunting reminder of tarnished hospitality and the fallen grace of a once reputable establishment. Our hearts heavy with disappointment, we leave with the certainty of never returning. Heathman Lodge, you have lost your long-standing patrons, and we fear for those who may unknowingly walk into the quagmire that you have become.

When you first pull up, the exterior is inviting—Plenty of parking. The lobby is designed nicely. We were greeted and checked in right away (only one in the lobby). We were able to get into our room early, which was nice. Ratings 4 Stars - Room - It was a nice size and clean. However, they have some detail and needed repairs. 5 Stars - Bed - Very comfortable. 4 Stars - Bathroom - Clean and large enough. Nice large shower, but the water spray was weak. 3 Stars - In-Room Amenities - This got ranked lower because the large Kureig makes no sense. It is only possible to fill without spilling everywhere. It had yet to be cleaned before our arrival. The coffee extras were not wrapped so that prior guests could touch them. They also had a microwave and fridge, which we didn't use. 5 Stars - Other Amenities - They had a pool, gym, and restaurant on site. We did not use the pool and gym, but we did eat at the restaurant, and will be reviewed separately.
