Not the best part of town and I guess it fits in with the area. Musty smell in the room and noisy as hell. Trains and barges and an air conditioner that sounds like a jet engine. The best part is a friendly staff and very helpful. Again it is in a very rundown part of town.

We only stayed 1 night but had at nice room for a great price, river view and everyone was super friendly and efficient. The only downside is that the airport is across the river in Oregon and so there is some jet noise now an again.

Missed a flight and had to wait. Very pleased with this place except for the construction out front and a bit of train noise. Ask for the river rooms and the noise will be less. The pool is very warm. Probably in the 90's. I like it.

We booked in this hotel and did not stay the night, choosing to move ourselves and all our stuff to another hotel. The staff were very accommodating, showing us several rooms, but the smell of cigarette smoke pervaded both rooms and corridors. This hotel has a great location on the river, but badly needs an overhaul. In addition to the... More

The restaurant was good, bar had fun music, the room was fine. The hotel needs some renovation but the view and location were great. Staff was superb, especially our server in the restaurant. Close proximity to Farmers market, great coffee place, Riverwalk.

I recently had hip replacement surgery and wanted to be able to see my husband and children swim so I paid extra to have a poolside room. We got a room on the second floor and the view is of big for trees blocking the pool. That's irritating but the room is great and there is alot to see in... More

We stayed here for a week during our Little League Regional Play-offs at Propstra Stadium. Why the location is good: Close to lots of places to eat and shop within easy walking distance. The town square is just a block away and hosts many activities- brew feast, farmers market, live music, etc. Right on the river with the restaurant having... More

Great hotel for the price, no restaurants close by apart from the one on the premises and we arrived too late for that. The airport shuttle stops at 9pm which meant our flight arrival time at 9.20pm meant that we had to pay for a cab +$45 That was very disappointing as we could have stayed somewhere else at a... I have stayed at this Vancouver WA Red Lion hotel on three occasions and each time have become increasingly impressed by the service. The last two times I've arranged our stay on behalf of a large group of cyclists and Ginny (Service Manager) was absolutely excellent to work with. How impressed was "I" that Chad - at the front desk... More

The Red Lion Hotel at the Quay is a great place to eat in Vancouver. It is right on the river with a nice view and we go there every month or so. The prices are just right and food is good to great. We both take guests there for the food and view.
