I gave this an average because it is an older place. Having said that it was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very polite and helpful. They also had a nice large room which we held a dinner in. If you just need a place to stay and don't care if you have an indoor pool then I recommend this...

This place needs major help on the bottom floor where pets are allowed! Water reeks of chlorine, 2 inch gap above door, holes in the screens, holes in the blankets. Yes the trains are very noisy all night, and the occupants above us had a screaming fight for half the night. Husband went to get coffee before 8 am and...

I spent one night there on business. The room cost me $63 with my AAA discount, and was easily the best deal in town. I stayed in a room not far from the lobby but had not problem with noise. The room is certainly aging, but it was clean and of decent size. Wifi was fine (I don't use open...

We were able to get one of the rooms on the main level which looks to have been remodeled recently. All of the rooms on the main floor look updated. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the bath redone, a large flat screen TV in an armoire, great water pressure in the shower. The owners were friendly and...

I have traveled to Fort Scott frequently in the past 20 years. This was my initial go to place because I was young and it was cheap. But as I have grown this place has seen some major changes and updates with little price increase. My most recent trip June 26- July 3 2015, the hotel had done some awesome...

We stayed here over the weekend for the all school high school reunion. We rented 2 single rooms. I booked these rooms back in January, I wanted rooms next to each other as the 2nd room was for my kids, and requested this at the time of booking. Our rooms were 102 and 114, so not right next to each...

This is a hotel that needs a lot of care and attention, it is not as bad as some have suggested, the rooms and beds are clean and tidy but the whole place is best described as dated and a bit shabby. The staff are good, they are trying hard with a difficult situation, without investment and rejuvenation they will...

This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in the past 30 years. We had a wedding in a nearby city so we needed three rooms for the best value, non smoking, and pet friendly. This hotel seemed to have all of that. After arriving and being greeted by the employees standing outside smoking we were taken...

Fort Smith does not have many locations for weary travelers to bed down. We went to this Inn because we were tired of driving and it showed up as "Best Western" on our older GPS. It is indeed an old Best Western and some things have been renovated but they have a long way to go. It is a pet-friendly...
