From the moment we checked in to checkout 2 days later, the staff at the Brice took amazing care of us. From friendly smiles & hellos at the front desk to the amazing housekeeping team who provided us with whatever we needed like pillows to Maria at Pacci who took excellent care of us every morning at breakfast, we will definitely be coming back to this wonderful hotel, which by the way, is in the best area close enough to walk everywhere though just far enough to enjoy some peace & quiet. Thank you for a perfect stay!

The rooms are average and the restaurant okay but over priced. What i can tell you on a positive note is that the staff is wonderful. All the people at the front desk addressed us personally and Cameron in the restaurant was exceptional. we would have stayed longer but our room rate doubled because of the weekend.

H9241BTcherylb, Thanks for staying and making the time to fill out a TA review. I am sorry the rooms age dampened the experience but am ecstatic to read about the personal experiences created by the front desk and Cameron in Pacci! I hope during your next visit to Savannah you'll give us another shot as we are renovating towards the end of the year and with new bathrooms, furnishings, and colors I am confident our rooms will exceed your expectations! Again, thanks for staying and I hope to host you again in the future.

I've had the pleasure of weekly stays at the Kimpton Brice over the last few months. From the start, I've found the employees to be very kind and responsive to any requests that I've needed, including Eric with group sales, all of the front desk staff, especially Adeina, and recently had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Ryan. The courtyard in the center of the hotel is an excellent place to meet other guests and has beautiful Edison bulb lighting that creates an amazing atmosphere at night, but is also wildly popular for the daily wine tasting that takes place each afternoon. The workout room, though relatively small, features gym quality Precor elliptical and treadmills and every room comes equipped with a yoga mat that can be used in your room or at the outdoor pool onsite. Located right off of Bay Street, the Kimpton Brice is a short walk from River Street and the many restaurants and shops that make up the downtown Savannah area. If you're looking for a fun, funky and swanky temporary abode, the Kimpton Brice most certainly fits the bill.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights per the recommendation of a friend who loved this hotel. I think she must have stayed here before this property was sold to some investors. As others have mentioned, this is a great hotel for dogs which we did not have, but I thought how many dogs could there be? The answer is " a lot"! In fact, someone across the hall from our room had a dog that was sadly whimpering since the occupants must have left the dog by itself. Fortunately for us the owners of that dog returned and the whimpering stopped. You could hear random barking from other parts of the hotel from time to time as well. The check in process was pretty cursory. We had just driven a very long drive and needed some dinner recommendations and all that was suggested was that there are a bazillion restaurants down by the river, go down there. When we got to our room, I decided to take a shower-guess what? No shower curtain! How long ago was that room cleaned? I think in all of my years of travel, this was a first. Not to mention when they did clean our room it was well after 5 pm the next day. Breakfast was horrible, from the service-lacking to an espresso machine that does not work. The valet parking and that is the only choice of parking was $44 for Savannah-those are NY prices. I would say the only upside was the location? I know Covid makes businesses harder to operate, but really?

It’s been a long time since I have been treated this kindly at a hotel. Everything from how she greeted me at the welcome desk, to answering questions about the area, to the nice care package sitting in the room for me. Jacklyn is what every hotel needs as the face of their company. Thank you Jacklyn for your service these few days. I’ve decided to stay here again in 2 weeks time. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking around town and experiencing the many restaurants and nice pubs. A great courtyard to relax with a coffee, a book and great company. True Souther Hospitality. Can’t wait to return here.

This is the BEST PET HOTEL. Every person I met in the hotel had their dog with them, including myself. The park near the hotel is great for dog relief. We got a King Suite that overlooked the water and when you exited you overlooked the courtyard. The room was large with a separate bedroom. The bathroom tub was massive and luxurious. It fit my husband and myself easy for size comparison. The valet and the room service staff was very kind and helpful. Always pleasant every morning and evening. The valet parks your car literally right next door to the hotel so you have it nearby if needed. Only negative things I can say: room service was not available but stated it was online. Hotel room massages is a joke. I called the number and no one ever reached out to me in 4 days. So, these two things I would not assume is at this hotel, despite it’s online amenities listed. If you are looking for room service and spa services definitely check out another hotel.

I recently stayed at the Kimpton Brice Hotel in Incredible Savannah, GA from May 15th to the 16th. To say the least it was the roughest stay of my life at the Kimpton Hotel Brand. To begin, I should note although this was one of the worst stays I have had with IHG as a Diamond Elite Member, it should not draw from the fact that this is a great hotel run by great people. It should be noted that this hotel will go into renovations this Fall, so there is a lot of hope for this hotel to become the best in Savannah from the day it reopens as a newly renovated one. My past Kimpton stays with the Washington D.C. Banneker Hotel, Atlanta Sylvan Hotel, and Phoenix Palomar Hotel have been almost perfect or foolproof. This is my fourth Kimpton stay. Here’s a detailed tell-all review of my experience at the Kimpton Brice Hotel: As a SCAD student, I live in a dormitory. Our dorm’s water heater broke down and was giving us cold showers for the two days before my stay. I had to wait until the 16th which was a working day for the dorm maintenance company to fix the water heater. I thought this would be a great opportunity to try the Kimpton Brice Hotel using the points that I have accumulated from the InterContinentals that I have visited. I’ve always wanted to stay at the hotel and anticipated staying there as early as 2020. I was looking very forward to staying as soon as I got the chance to be in Savannah. I made a same-day booking using 39,000 IHG One Points and booked the 1 King Essential Room. Upon arrival, I was able to check in 2 hours before the standard check-in time of 4 PM through the Diamond Elite benefit. I believe it was Natasha who checked me in at the hotel and helped me get my key to the hotel room. I got Room 338, which is a corner room facing the river and a street corner. For those IHG One members wondering, no I did not get a complimentary upgrade due to room availability, which is fine by me. Inside this cornered Essential Room, it’s different from a regular Essential Room. You have the King Bed, sofa chair, cabinets, a TV, a closet, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is no working desk to tuck into to work on your laptop in this corner room, but at least you can view the outside of the room from two sides. There were unfortunately problems with my corner room. First of all, in every Kimpton, there is always a set of Atelier Bloom Bath Amenities. There was no liquid body soap provided, and I had to call the Instant Service button to bring it up. The kind housekeeper on-call brought the bottle up and had to wipe the bottle down from the unknown pink stains on it. The hotel was running out of liquid soap at the time, and the housekeeper had to steal one from another room as described by her. Furthermore, the vertical curtain on one window was disconnected from the mechanism that brings them up and down. I had to call the engineer in to reconnect, who did a fine job. What brought me the shock was when there was a used pair of pants found on the top of the cabinet that I spotted. It looked like it was there for a while, with the pants dusted up. I noticed the housekeeping staff were shorter than I am, so it was a complete blind spot for them. I’m 6’1”, which made it easy for me to spot. I called Front Desk Agent Jasmine who got me a replacement room with a sit-down desk so I could work. Jasmine helped me get my card replaced and moved to Room 206, which was smaller but still OK for me to stay in. On my way to the room, there was a huge mosquito found in the hallway, which I got promptly removed through Jacqueline. Room 206 is a regular room with just a shower, a single stretched desk to hold your laptop and the TV, and a view of basically nothing but the empty roof of the courtyard building and the exterior hallway. There were many issues once again however in this 325sqft space. First, the desk was inconvenient to move into and out of when the chair only had 3 inches of space between the desk and the bedframe when tucked out. The room had an issue with a loose lightbulb on the over-the-chair lamp, so I had to call Jasmine again on a frequently static room telephone. That was fixed. However, there were issues with the maintainability and housekeeping of my room. The watermarked shower windows weren’t cleaned down, with the showerhead starting to loosen from the wall. There was a broken switch on the desk lamp and a broken bathroom hook. The hand sanitizing wipes waiting for me bedside had some cleaning powder on them, which of course made me think it was a narcotic substance. I got Jasmine to bring up the super nice Jamaican housekeeper Ayesha to fix the issues I had to address the housekeeping front issues. I had to bring her back up again to vacuum the floor because I found a used hairband with hair on it under the bed. Ayesha did me a huge favor! She recommended me to check the bedding to see if there is any hair on them. Surely enough, there was hair on the pillows, which she got replaced. The next morning in my glasses, there was hair and dust on the bathroom sill and hair in the drawer. That is a bunch of loosened hair for me to see for some 20 hours. I was checked out by Jasmine, who got me to make up much of the stay. She informed me I was going to be compensated in some unknown way, to which I asked her to get the hotel manager to call me about it because of my rush to a SCAD class. Due to some minor technical difficulties and busyness with hotel business, I called back later a couple of times through Jasmine to finally reach Front Desk Manager Adienna, who was made completely aware of the situation. In compensation for the crazy issues I went through, I was given 50,000 IHG One points for another stay or two. It’s an incredible compensation response to a bad stay. I’m happy! That was when I found out that renovations will be underway for the hotel this year. Although this hotel has seen its wear and tear age and a housekeeping understaff shortage, I think this hotel would rebound when the renovations are finished. The staff members are very hospitable and friendly, especially Ayesha, Jasmine, Jacqueline, Natasha, and the Manager Adienna. All of whom facilitated a impeccable customer service experience during a peak visit. I would have completely lost my patience despite the horror I went through if it wasn’t for these great people. Hopefully, some of the points I made as a veteran IHG One Guest would be accounted for in the hotel’s renovations. I look forward to returning to see a refreshed Kimpton Brice Hotel.

Since you are local give me a shout, I'd love to have you dine in Pacci and bring your SCAD classmates; we offer local discounts on drinks :) Sincerely, Ryan

Mr. A, Thanks for corresponding with me. I appreciate the kind words and glad you enjoy your time with us each time you visit. The Secret Garden courtyard is a special place and provides great ambiance with birds singing during the day; and a relaxing place to grab a cocktail in the evening. It really comes to life on Friday nights when we have live music out there as well. I really appreciate your business and thank you for the continued support. -Ryan

Shout out to Jackie!! She was the first to great us and get us settled into our room all with laughter and smiles. From selecting the perfect room to tips on dining she was helpful and really made us feel she was going the extra mile. As many others commented on the hotel being old and a bit beat remember you are going to a historical city - that's what makes it so charming. If you want a boutique experience with lots of charm and outstanding customer service, this is where you will want to stay. When planning your trip leave room for suggestions by others. We regret not utilizing the hotels concierge!! We had a lovely conversation with her while waiting for our car to take us to the airport. After sharing some of our dining experiences she would have been able to provide better choices. The only negative - and a big one was the woman in charge of the housekeeping of our room. I understand everyone has a bad day but hers lasted the entire week. I feel it was unjustified considering I make the bed, wash the glasses, and tidy things up as if it were our home. There wasn't much for her to do daily. Thank you, Kimpton team, you provided us with a wonderful experience! We enjoyed our balcony, lavish bathroom (with an amazing tub), the convenience to all the city has to offer, and many welcoming team members.

Good Morning Lauramariec2018, I am very happy to read that Jackyn took such great care of you. I am saddened to hear about your experience with one of my room attendants. Feel free to reach out and provide more detail as I am very curious who the sour interactions were with. I am very happy to read that her curtness didnt dampen your overall stay and thank you for making mention to my team as a whole as they really try to create personal experiences that are very memorable for all guests.
