This historic hotel has a wonderful staff and the accommodations are outstanding. The bathroom is a little small because they have maintained the historic character of the building. It is within easy walking distance to many great restaurants and coffee shops. We even had two toddlers with us and it was no problem getting their strollers in and out. The... More

From the moment I walked in the front door everyone was very nice and professional. The rooms were clean.. Breakfast was really great. They had a protein option each day and the afternoon wine and cheese was enjoyable.

The Marshall House is elegant! It has that Southern Charm we've read about. The entrance even has the red carpeted staircase to welcome you as the wonderful porters smile, park your car and attend to any need you might have! Clinton and Bernard, porters, became our friends after 2 days. They provided information directions and services... bottles of cold water... More

Yes, water pressure is an odd way to start off a review, especially when this hotel is so charming, but that was one of the best showers I've ever taken! The Marshall House is a pristine, olde world hotel built in 1851, smack in the middle of town. Used three times as a hospital and listed in many registries as... More

Amazing hotel and absolutely beautiful! It's in a great location for many activities. Close to the city market and river walk, as well as the Old Pink House restaurant. Our room was a balcony room and it was worth every cent. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with directions and recommendations on things to do and places to eat.... More

This is just as charming as staying in a Bed & Breakfast while staying on a budget and avoiding the usual chain hotels. Wonderful location in town, can walk to shopping and Riverfront from there. Parking garage is behind the hotel. Breakfast was usual stuff as from chain hotels, was okay but no waffles or pancakes. Good coffee and variety... More

The room was immaculate, despite dating to before the Civil War. I felt like we were royalty. The red and white motif, the tall ceilings, the huge bed, the old fireplace, all gave a sense of a bygone era. And then,,, the continental breakfast; consisting of eggs, bacon, pancakes, assorted bagels and breads for toasting, assorted cereals, yogurt, several types... More

We spent four nights at the Marshall House. All the staff were very friendly and greater you with a smile on their faces which was very nice. My advice is to look at the rooms which are available we had one which looked out on to the air conditioning unit! Plus our air conditioning in our room was very noisy... More

We arrived by car in the evening and were greeted right away outside the hotel providing a very easy check-in. This hotel is in the heart of the vibrant historic district with easy parking. The lobby and hallways are tastefully furnished with drawings and prints of old Savannah and provide a wonderful way to understand the development of the hotel... More

My husband and I recently spent the night here. It was a nice stay from location and staff. The only reason I'm not giving it a five star is our room stayed warn during the night even thought the AC was running. We would stay here again.
