We've stayed many times at the Marshall House. It's centrally located, full of history and a comfortable place to stay. There's a fun bar and restaurant attached, as well as breakfast included in the morning.
We have been going to Savannah for 20 years and at one point even lived in Savannah. With that, this was one of our best choices yet! Well maintained, beautiful architecture, amazing hotel staff and a great location! Even the Covid era breakfast was very nicely organized. If you get a chance book one of the balcony rooms. There's nothing better than sitting on the balcony and letting the worlds problems melt away while relaxing on one of the rocking chairs.
The Marshall house was great experience. The Staff was amazing. We used the valet service with no problems, even though they were dealing with construction out front. The rooms were great stayed in 414(supposedly the most haunted in the hotel). The history alone would want you to stay at the Marshall House
Great Hotel, Great vacation. The staff was amazing. I highly recommend this place to stay. It is in a great central location in the historic district. The rooms are a little small but everything was great. We absolutely loved Savannah. (heat and all).
This is a great older hotel, lots of history inside. King room was small, but bed was comfortable. Keep in mind that the floors squeak a little at times, but not a big deal. E. Broughton St is under construction and will be for probably another year or so. The valet service is not in front of hotel, it is a little walk away from hotel, maybe 1/2 block on Abercorn. The valet staff are so nice and helpful. Daily amenity fee of $30 is charged to your room which covers breakfast and wine reception in evening. Breakfast is very good, large selection and wine reception is great!
Great place to stay. All the reviews I read before we went, with the issues people had with things not working, we had none. A/C worked great, showers were good, rooms were clean and ALL the associates working there were top notch, pleasant, friendly and very helpful with anything you needed. I would have no problem staying there in the future.
This charming historic hotel is centrally located in Savannah. It's only an easy walk to all sights. Our room was furnished with taste and was very cozy. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy. The bathroom was a bit small, but functional. The service was obliging and very friendly. Breakfast service was outstanding with a huge variety of food to choose from. The hotel even offers Wine Social in the afternoon. We highly recommend this place and will come back again.
We really enjoyed our visit to Savannah and the Marshall House doesn't disappoint. It's a beautifully restored antebellum hotel with a few modern touches that make it an amazing experience. The elevator actually looks like it should always have been there. I would definitely recommend it. The next night I spend in Savannah will mark my return visit. The only thing I didn't like was the street construction, but they even provided ear plugs to block out the noise.
I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the overall charm and feel of this historic hotel. Don’t will the bar and restaurant for dinner. Also, breakfast is amazing. If you’re just there to tour Savannah you won’t need a car. This place is within walking distance to just about everything.
Beautiful historic Inn in a great location. Walking distance to almost everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and the air conditioner worked great. Free water bottles (ice cold) in the lobby was a nice touch as it was super hot the week we were there.
