Enjoyed the historical nature of the Hotel. The staff was great. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a very nice restaurant on the premises. The location is within walking distance to attractions and many restaurants.

We have been going to Savannah for 20 years and at one point even lived in Savannah. With that, this was one of our best choices yet! Well maintained, beautiful architecture, amazing hotel staff and a great location! Even the Covid era breakfast was very nicely organized. If you get a chance book one of the balcony rooms. There's nothing better than sitting on the balcony and letting the worlds problems melt away while relaxing on one of the rocking chairs.

We love sharing our city with guests that truly appreciate it and it sounds like you did it right and made the most of your stay with us here at The Marshall House. Thank you for your kind notes about our breakfast, I will pass those on to our staff. We do hope that we can get you back down here soon for another great stay.

My first impression was how friendly and attentive the staff were. Everyone had a smile and was ready to help. The attractive lobby was a welcome site after a long day's drive. My bottom-price room was bare bones but spotless, and it had everything I needed (I'll scale up next time). Breakfast was particularly good if basic. The best aspect of this hotel is its location, a few short blocks from the river, a comfortable walk to Forsythe Park, and easy access to everywhere in between. I'll be back next time I visit Savannah.

This inn was a gem! It's centrally located to most of the historic sights in town and is within walking distance. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and kind...especially the front desk and valet services. Very clean and charming. We would stay here again if we visit Savannah.
