Loved and enjoyed my Hyatt experience. Highly recommend ....Close to historic sites, fine dining. Staff was very accommodating. Will be returning in early 2023. Most likely February for our Anniversary.
The Hyatt Regency in savannah is a beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location. The food is good, the bar is in a great spot, the lobby and common areas are perfect. They do not do a good job keeping up with housekeeping in the rooms. We had to call several times during our 5-day stay to get coffee replenished, shampoo/conditioner refilled, one day the room was not serviced at all. The carpet was dirty, and never vacuumed during our stay.
It was a very nice-looking hotel, and the room was a nice size and clean. And the store was a very big convenience, there was not always someone available at the front desk to charge me for the items I wanted to purchase. The pool was severely misrepresented on the website. It looked like your average hotel-size pool. It's about half of that. The turndown service was very sporadic. The prices at the restaurant were OUTLANDISH! I was a guest at the hotel, and I could get the same amount/quality ANYWHERE else within a 5-minute walk radius for much less. The buffet was so expensive, it was almost offensive.
This hotel is awesome view, location is perfect, clean rooms, great atmosphere! We picked the perfect hotel for our parents 50th anniversary weekend. Everthing was at your fingertips at this location.
Wonderful stay! Rooms very clean and comfortable. Our room was street side but in Savannah there is no bad view. Elevator took us right down to River St, which is a must to any visit. Staff are wonderful , friendly and helpful. The outside patio lovely area to have a drink or bite to eat. Lovely area inside as well to view the river when the weather is not so nice. We’d stay here again.
no urgency in the food & beverage staff. the rooms are smell of mildew and do not cool off, worst hotel beds out there. i went to the bar for a beer, took the bartender 5mins as she was busy cleaning glasses. another manager was there taking inventory and did not help.
I went to visit my hometown for a few days after being away for 25 years. My stay at the Hyatt made me wish I’d booked for a few more days. Loved the location ease of access, valet dealing with parking, being able to walk from the hotel to go most places, having the park on Bay St. at the front door and the 4th floor terrace was a great place to have morning coffee while overlooking the river and River St.
I enjoyed staying, however I wish that would have left more toiletries. Overall everything was great. Everything was great> staff was nice, room was clean, bath room was clean. The restaurant food was excellent
Enjoyed thoroughly my stay in this river front hotel. Excellent food, safe and awesome!! I also enjoyed the river side walk with amazing food choices, breweries and the local artists playing phenomenal tunes.
This hotel and its staff had more than we expected. The breakfast buffet, the beautiful lobby, great concierge to guide our stay was perfect. The staff was more than accommodating and very pleasant and professional.
