Travelers' Choice
Voted "Best Savannah B&B / Inn" six years, Presidents' Quarters Inn exudes the charming ways of the American South. This historic and private bed-and-breakfast hotel (16 overly spacious executive quarters; ca. 1855) is a time-honored place of beauty on Oglethorpe Square and featured in Southern Living, "The South's Most Scenic Drives". Guest favorites are the walkable historic district location, private courtyard, balconies, free parking, elevator, WiFi, lovely breakfast, wine hour & extraordinary southern hospitality. General Robert E. Lee was an overnight guest. The 'Trust Lot' was the first residence site of Georgia's First Royal [British] Governor (ca. 1735). It was a movie location for "Roots" television mini-series.

We stayed a night at Presidents Quarters and the front desk advisor Scarlett was wonderful. She was very friendly and upbeat and helpful. The breakfast cook, Chef Octavian, made us a tasty quiche for breakfast.

Property's Favorite Review
Room was absolutely perfect…very spacious & clean. location was awesome…close to everything but not in the main tourist area. Staff was courteous, attentive and friendly; parking was on-site and easy. We checked out the others we had considered and concluded this was by far the perfect choice for us. We had two choices for breakfast and both we good. By the way, stop 8 for the hop on and off bus was right at our B&B, so that made getting around extra easy.

At only 16 rooms the Presidents' Quarters is tiny compared to some hotels, but our experience was first class. The staff could not be more helpful, giving us tips on places to go and getting around the city. Their great advice was to take the trolley ride, which we did, and they organised a free shuttle to take us to the pick up point and a discount for the tour. The breakfast was nice, and the room was historical, stunning on the eye and we had a restful night. The Inn is situated in a great spot for exploring the beautiful city of Savannah and we would highly recommend it to everyone. The complimentary wine hour was a good way to chill and meet other guests. The only minor thing was the room did not have a safe, but we felt completely safe at the hotel and in the city. Charming little inn. Great staff, great breakfast including. We stayed for 3 nights. Inn is just enough off the beaten path to be nice and quiet. Most of historic Savannah is walkable from here. Don’t miss wine o’clock 5:30-6:30.

Very nice spacious room - very nice! It was extremely clean and the vintage furniture is a great plus. The balcony is large and nice. It's in a quiet location and room was quiet, except for when the AC turned on (but didn't wake us up). Very centrally located. The staff are top notch. We dealt with Jo, Scarlett and Tammie. All three were extremely nice and helpful. The whole feel and atmosphere made you feel like you were at home, not an antiseptic hotel. Nice breakfast served in the morning. We loved the cat -meow meow. We would probably have given it a 5 star rating but for a few very minor things: the bottom sheet was not fitted thus didn't stay in place at night, for the size of the room the TV could have been a little larger, and the shower could have been maybe a little more modern, but it was fine. Oh, and parking was right on the property which was nice. There also is a nice garden area outside to sit and eat breakfast or just enjoy the shade and breeze. Many restaurants close by and the staff recommendations were right on - best restaurant literally right across the street. We would definitely go back!!

Everyone went above and beyond here. They suggested a restaurant within walking distance and it was great too. This is our new favorite place to stay in Savannah. So historic and beautiful in a great part of town. The whole team was great. Scarlett (yes) Jessica, Jo, Tammie, Equiana and the chefs, Octavian and Stacy.

Great location, and really nice premises. Staff were great, and always helpful . Loved the breakfast, as changed daily Only downside was the bed was small and creaky. For the $$ paid the bed was very poor. If it wasn’t for the bed, would stay there again.

Thank you for your review! I am sorry to hear our bed wasn't to your liking though! They aren't old or low quality beds, but they are on the soft side, and we do appreciate the feedback. Again, thanks for taking the time to let us know.

The President Quarter’s Inn is a charming hotel with just 16 rooms on Oglethorpe Square. Free parking, you can walk all over the shady town with its 22 squares. We had a big 2-bed room. Breakfast was very good, either continental or the special of the day. Staff was very helpful, I even talked poetry with Tammy! The house cat is a bonus. I recommend it.
