Our family of 4 stayed here 3 nights. One of the best b & b's I've ever been to. Home is a historic gem - you feel as if you are in another century but with all the modern comforts. We stayed in the Miriam Dent and James Troup Dent rooms combined as a suite. Fantastic space. Plenty of room... More

From the moment of our arrival to our departure, we were treated like royalty. Albert was such a gracious host and the staff waited on us, hand and foot. This was my boyfriends first experience staying at a B&B and he loved it so much, he wants to stay at more of them! The accommodations were plush and elegant, the... More

Wow. So many good things about this place. 1) Proprietor: Albert Wall, retired MD. If you searched the phrase, "Quintessential Southern Gentleman", his picture should pop up. Gracious and charming. Modest (ask him about his "boat"!) You could hang out there just listening to his stories. 2) Building: Built in 1834. Fell into disrepair, before Dr. Wall bought it and... More

I had booked the hotel for two days to spend the night before and after my wedding. Both Alice and Albert greeted us warmly and displayed genuine interest in my groom and myself. After finding out about my wedding, my room was even upgraded. I felt so special. We enjoyed exploring all of the antiques tastefully placed throughout the house.... More

No trip to Savannah would be complete without staying in this fantastic home. There were some many great things about our stay, it is hard to pick where to start! First off, Dr. Wall is the most fabulous host. He is charming, and so full of interesting stories. Dr. Wall is so warm and easy to talk with. If you... More

This house is absolutely beautiful with so many antiques. It is very well decorated and Albert, the owner, is delightful. He is a true Southern gentleman and is always looking after your every need. The breakfasts were delicious and he even tells you where the recipe came from. A charming place with outdoor patio and porch to enjoy your "quiet... More

We picked this B&B to be a bit away from the river hustle and bustle without having researched much else and we were completely blown away by what we found - an elegant house full of Albert's fantastic collections, a beautiful garden, a wonderful suite, delicious breakfasts, a perfect location in Savannah within walking distance of everything, and of course... We just spent 2 nights here. The place is beautiful. You are within walking distance to the historic district and all it has to offer. The breakfasts are delicious. Most of all, Albert's hospitality made our stay just wonderful. I only wish we would have had a longer stay in this beautiful place.

This was our 2nd Trip to Savannah in 2-Months and our 2nd B&B in Savannah. Albert the owner was a True Host and told amazing Stories of Savannah at Breakfast every morning. The home is Flawless and the location was the best we have stayed in so far. Thx so much to the Staff at this B&B

This is the place to stay if you love the history, the architecture, and the furnishings of old Savannah. Albert, the owner, was an excellent host, who treats you as his personal guest rather than as a paying customer. He serves a breakfast made from historic recipes and tells you about each dish. Coffee is served from a silver coffeepot... More
