My husband and I escaped for our own thanksgiving this year and decided on a bed and breakfast. Being our first time, we didn’t know what to expect. We definitely did not want to leave this place. We felt like family and every time we walked back through those front doors we would be greeted with a huge “hi” even it was the 3rd time they saw us this day. We loved the cookies at bed time, complementary breakfast and wine and snacks at night. The staff were some of the kindest souls I’ve met. From Nick to Jolie and Jennifer to Keke, Terre and Chef C, thank you!! We loved speaking with you and felt so cared for. To anyone considering a place to stay please stay here. You will walk away so in love with this city because of the people who work at the Kehoe house. Thank you guys!!!
From the moment we arrived, Jordie made us feel at home! First, let me say we stayed a month prior to this at the Gastonian (which is the sister property and also, excellent). I love this location, it is even closer to the historical area and even easier to walk to the river front, eateries and Leopold ice cream. We felt very comfortable even during this time of Covid-19; they took every step to protect theirselves and their guests without it feeling weird. We met 4 other couples, two celebrating their 25th anniversary and one their 50th. Jordie and Jennifer took time to be interested and engaging with their guests, like family and Samantha never let us go with the amenities ... our wine and snacks before dinner and then our dessert and beverage before bed. The cookie on the pillow at turndown, wow ... loved it. Rita, checked in on us and was such a pleasure to get to know. Kiki, breakfast "queen" and Chef C arrived in the mornings to deliver our breakfast on the upper veranda, with that smiling face and bubbling cheer. The ladies who, I am sorry I didn't get their names but they hustled behind the scenes to keep everything clean ... we felt so spoiled to the point that when we left, it was like leaving family after a wonderful visit. We have been telling everyone we know here in Virginia and others, its a must to first go stay at the Kehoe House and second, tour Savannah as a plus. Cannot wait to return …
This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and I will say our expextions will be high for any other one we stay in. The staff Nick, KeKe, Terre and chef c were what make this place so memorable. Cookies every night before bed, wine and treats when you are just sitting around the house and complementary breakfast every morning that is so so good definitely made it hard to leave. You may even hear things about this place being haunted but trust me, it’s not. The location is PERFECT. If you come to savannah please stay here. Support a local place because they will love on you and spoil you like crazy. We will be coming back and bringing family along with us. Thank you, Kehoe house. You are family!
Kehoe House is a gem! The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is on point! This was a wonderful getaway for adult couples looking for a historic location. We were within walking distance of almost all the sights we wanted to visit. Beautiful veranda in our room to enjoy our breakfast, cocktails and quiet time together.
I felt like family and a treasured guest at the same time. All the staff bend over backwards to accommodate your every wish or desire. Chef C does a better job than most of the restaurants in town. I look forward to my next visit.
