Hotel's Favorite
I loved that all the staff had local suggestions for food and history tours. They provided a 'real' opinion of where to go based on what we enjoyed. This B&B is top 2 in the 6 we've stayed at within GA and FL. Bed was very comfortable. The 5'oclock hour was the highlight of our day - to hear from all our new friends on where they went and what the dinner plans were and to enjoy wine.

My husband and I spent the most romantic 5-day trip in the Kehoe House. The complimentary breakfast was delicious every morning, whether we ate on our balcony, in the dining room, or courtyard. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and courteous. We stayed in the Tomochichi suite, which is a lovely room that has a lovely balcony with views of the St. John’s cathedral. The history of the Kehoe House is so interesting. The ironwork throughout the exterior and interior is remarkable! The house is within walking distance to everything in the Historic District, so it is perfect to leave your car in their parking lot at just $20 a day (this is much cheaper than other hotels and inns, as well as overnight public parking). We would highly recommend the Kehoe House to any couple who wants to spend a romantic, carefree vacation in a beautiful city with its history, amazing squares adorned with flowers and trees, and outstanding food!

Annual visitor to Savannah but first stay at Kehoe House.
Reservation was easy over the phone and the staff was very informative regarding the room options and attributes.
Upon arrival check in was friendly, swift and professional. Assistance with our bags was provided and we were guided to our room by Faith who provided some history about the house. Please be aware that the grand staircase is not the only way to access the rooms as the inn has an elevator for those who are stair adverse.
Our room, the Tybee, was sparkling clean, spacious, well appointed with a very comfortable king bed, and had an adjacent entry to a balcony.
The in itself is a very well kept 1892 mansion with original woodwork, mantels, flooring and cast iron decorative windows and columns. Very nicely decorated with period pieces and lighting. A really nice setting that is well positioned in the historic district from which to launch your visit if Savannah.
While as much as we enjoyed the surroundings, the issue that sets Kehoe House apart from the other accommodations we have enjoyed in Savannah in the past is the staff.
From reservation to check out, the staff was superb. Faith was friendly and eager to assist with any question. Chef Terre provided delicious breakfasts, visited each morning to confirm our satisfaction and provided us with suggestions on places to visit outside of the norm of historic Savannah. Really great!
The late afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres served by the staff, evening turndown service complete with delivery of house made cookies and availability of nightly desert were fantastic.
Simply stated, the staff are a credit to the Kehoe House and separate it from the other accommodations we have enjoyed in Savannah. Thanks to all at Kehoe House.
We look forward to our next visit.

Just a glimpse of a picture was all it took to decide to book a night at this bed and breakfast. Driving up to the Kehoe house was nothing short of breath taking as the house's character was extraordinary. Walking up the steps brought you to double doors that opened up, bringing you back in time. The welcoming staff checked us in and assured us of our accommodations and everything that was included. After being shown to our luxurious room that was brilliantly illuminated by the sun we looked over everything, the private balcony with beautiful views, the tall ceiling that held a classic chandelier in it's center. The king size bed was beautifully dressed in linens that were soft and warm. Even the bathroom had a beautiful view overlooking the square! A dresser accommodated our clothes and items we had brought and a small television was even placed inside to use if wanted. After coming back from going out for dinner and seeing the town, the turn down service allowed for us to come in and turn in for the night. Our shades were drawn, bedding adjusted to slip right in under the covers and a delicious cookie placed on the pillow. In the morning as we awoke to the sun kissing the windows, showing us it was time to wake up. Before even getting out of bed, the aroma of breakfast filled the room. We ate our breakfast in the dinning room, in front of a warm fireplace. The food was delicious and tasted homemade. Meanwhile, the staff was accommodating to our needs. At checkout, we were thanked and made sure that our needs had been met.
Staying at the Kehoe house was a wonferful, romantic escape and getaway experience we will always remember and would highly recommend to others who are looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway.

Our stay at the Kehoe House was so incredible that after our first two nights, we extended another two nights when a room became available!
From the moment we walked in, the kind staff made us feel right at home. We were greeted with drinks every time we walked back in from a long day of sightseeing, breakfast on the veranda was INCREDIBLE, the rooms and common area spaces were clean and quiet, and little details like fresh flowers, surprise champagne for my birthday, and evening cookies delivered to your room made it that much more magical.
We can't wait to visit again and would recommend the Kehoe House for the hospitable staff, cleanliness, delicious food, and centralized location that made walking to parks, restaurants, and tours super easy!

Our first trip to Savannah was a last minute decision after our hotel in Charleston booked us for 2 nights instead of 3 nights. A stroke of luck, as it turned out, as our experience at The Kehoe House was so memorable that we can't wait to return. This historic landmark is beautifully appointed, while being spacious and comfortable. Every member of the staff was professional, accommodating, and clearly invested in a superior guest experience. Jennifer got us checked in, settled, and on our way with lots of great info for making the best of our short stay, and managed to keep us in our same room with our request for another night. Delores, in housekeeping, handed over an impeccable room, and responded to our request for thinner pillows with several choices. And then there's Chef Terre, who made me feel most spoiled with special consideration given regarding my vegan diet. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, beautiful, and vegan, as was the afternoon Happy Hour hors d'oeuvres. While these were 3 staff whose names I remember, every person we interfaced with was friendly and attentive. Southern hospitality at it's best!
Meanwhile, if you want to be immersed in the history and vibe of Savannah, you'd be hard pressed to find a better location. We walked everywhere, easily, from the river to Forsyth Park, and were graced with great weather and a full harvest moon . . . Perfection!

My husband and I stayed here while we were passing through on a roadtrip. We were only at the hotel for a few short hours but enjoyed our stay so much! From the super helpful Alexis at the front desk to the delicious made to order frittata breakfast, everything was perfect. The location is also on a really quiet street but easy walking to the main attractions. I'm not sure if the price was so reasonable because of COVID, but the gourmet breakfast, which was included in the price, would have probably cost at least $40 out at a restaurant. We will definitely stay here again!

there are many inns and hotels in Savannah that are well worth a stay; there are none like the Kehoe House. stayed there ten years ago or so and it was at that time one of the nicest hotels i'd ever been in; since then they've upped their game tremendously. from the moment you walk in to the impressive and historic queen anne property, you're treated like royalty. the staff are warm, friendly, professional, always smiling and glad to see you. the rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts are gourmet, made to order and can be enjoyed in the dining room or guestroom or on one of the many balconies. wine and hors d'oeuvres in the afternoons, cookies at turn-down and chef prepared dessert every night. the Kehoe might be a little more expensive for a given date than others, but when you consider a 50$ breakfast for two every morning and 25$ dessert for two every evening included, the rate is more than reasonable. and the location is perfect - tucked into one of Savannah's romantic garden squares, the hotel is private and restful while being a short skip to the riverwalk and just a block off broughton (where tons of restaurants and shopping are). having stayed at many/most of the hotels in Savannah, we stand firmly of the opinion that the Kehoe is number one in all categories.

We recently visited Kehoe House for our wedding. I can’t recommend them enough—whether you’re visiting for pleasure or a wedding or anniversary.
I hope you are hungry because you will have awesome food! The chef, Kiki, is fantastic and makes breakfast everyday to order. Around 5pm, head downstairs for delicious appetizers and drinks then come back again for dessert and wine starting at 8pm. Between appetizers and dessert, the house is well located in down Savannah which makes it easy to head out and walk to dinner (it’s .25 miles from River Street and the market or just walk across the street to the excellent restaurant, 1790) or get a taxi easily and head out.
The house itself is beautiful. The rooms have modern convenience but maintain the original features like massive fireplaces, ornate chandeliers, flowing staircases and verandas accessible through huge windows. It even has an elevator which goes straight to the courtyard exit. The whole house is so charming and beautiful!
The staff is just fantastic: Jordi in particular arranged our wedding and made it so simple, intimate and beautiful. We can’t thank her enough; it was exactly what we wanted. Having said that, we didn’t meet a single person on the team who wasn’t awesome whether helping us arrange for a dinner, bringing us appetizers or dessert at night or offering recommendations for activities or food nearby.

We are a well traveled couple having stayed in many b&b across the United States, Canada and elsewhere.
This place beats them all. Yes this place is full of elegant antiques, artwork, and has gourmet breakfasts. Yes they offer coffee and tea and soft drinks around the clock in the dining room.
Now we get to some of the unique features that set this place above the rest:
* turn down service that leaves a package of home made cookies (in plastic) by your bed
* full time concierge service— these people are always there either in the lobby or on the sidewalk in front of the property. They are so friendly and resourceful. This personal touch is remarkable. It is what I imagine a VIP would get when staying at the Ritz.
* they have a well designed elevator that was added to the building a few years ago. This makes a luxurious 120 year old building accessible to those who can’t climb the stairs
* they’re located in the heart of the historic district with tour buses going by all day and into the evening, yet the rooms are fully sound proof
* they offer hors d’oeuvres with wine in the afternoon, then home made desserts and port wine later in the evening
We’ll be back...

Yes. While we provide a robust, chef-prepared breakfast as well as nightly hors d'oeuvres and desert, we can accommodate outside food and drink in our kitchen refrigerator.
All of our guest rooms have a flat screen television. Our common areas do not.
Our Inn has an accessible elevator. Parking is included with your stay.
Yes, there is a daily hot breakfast. Room service is at the discretion of the guest.
The Parlor king room is beautiful , has a public balcony just outside the room . To be honest it is not the quite's room in the house, after all it is a house and we try to accommodate the best we can. There are other rooms on the upper floors that are a lot more quite like The Tybee Island room , it's more isolated towards the back of the house. Please call us directly if you have any other questions, we are happy to help
