Checked in to room 204 yesterday and where do I start? I believe this is the first negative review I have given. Trash can under sink was overflowing with trash and there were food crumbs all over the carpet. I went to speak to front desk and, in their defence, took care of it immediately. Not a huge deal. My wife was going to put our 11 month old grandson for a nap and she decided to check the bed. Under the sheet on the mattress cover were two large yellow stains. Disgraceful and disappointing. I went to front desk again to inform them and they sent a male member of the team to look at my complaint. He was very embarrassed and said that he should check the other bed while he was there. He pulled the sheets back and there were two huge yellow stains! He didn't know what to say. He went to change the beds immediately. My wife made the beds and then noticed several large stains on bed curtain. I was in the restroom and went to dry my hands and the towel was ripped and had several holes in it. I was done. Went downstairs to the desk with towel and showed it to the male who was now behind the front desk and he, once again, was embarrassed. I then saw the front desk female and she apologised and said she would discount the nights stay by twelve dollars! I stated to her that we had booked to stay for 5 nights and was not paying for the night. She agreed and said would we like to move to another room. I said to her not tonight as we had unpacked our cases but may tomorrow. She said she would leave a note for the desk manager today regarding issue. Watch this space.

As a frequent business traveler, I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels. This one is just a mess! Missing light bulbs in room, missing hairdryer, dirty with dead bugs under sink, missing handle on breakfast bar chafing dish, water leak in bathroom, stained & torn seats in hotel shuttle, no towels or sanitizer in fitness room, multiple broken machines in laundry room. I called the front desk 8 times around midnight & even waited there for 15 mins & never saw an employee! There was a sign saying they were helping another guest -dial 0 for assistance...and, of course, no answer! Glad it wasn’t an emergency! Steer clear - Don’t let the nice exterior fool you, there are many better options on this hotel row!

Arrived at Savannah airport on Saturday afternoon and phoned for shuttle. Told no shuttle today drivers have all quit. Got to front desk and asked why website was showing a shuttle sevice if its not offered and told to speak to manager. I then asked when the manager would be in and was told she didn't know. I wrote to hotel asking for taxi fare from the airport to be reimbursed no reply has been forthcoming after a week. This hotel seriously damages IHG brand

Staying here for work and last night when I check in, my first thought was ok, decent clean room. That was until I walked into the bathroom and saw "I 💜 u" written in what looked like lipstick on the shower wall. I ignored it and continued with my shower. after my shower I took the rag and wiped it a few times using a lil bit of elbow grease cause I didn't want to look at it the next time I shower. I wanted a drink so I go into the cabinet and low and behold, someone left a few dirty dishes in the cabinet😝. Not to mention, it seems to be a glass missing from the set. I took it upon myself to put the dishes in the dishwasher. Idk how often they do inventory for these rooms or whatever but somebody somewhere is slipping on their job. Normally when I go stay somewhere I read the reviews but this time I didn't for some reason. Tell you the truth... It's kinda sad that a guest has to point out these things when housekeeping/management should be on top of this sort of stuff. But hey we all make mistakes right? Another thing Is the freezer/ice maker looked like it hasn't been touched in days or maybe more😕. But then again from what i just read from the reviews, the whole room hasn't been touched up. I wish i could post pics but I'm writing this from my tablet and don't really take pics using my tablet.

I don’t write many negative reviews. However, I do appreciate it when people let me know when there is a problem with a particular business. I have stayed at many Staybridge Suites over the years and I ah e always been happy with them. I was not happy with this experience in the least. I was given a wet moldy room and then told by the front desk that “they can’t even clock in without having a problem”. I was told they could put a tornado fan in my room??? They didn’t have any more rooms and they had no backup plan for customers leaving me without a room for the evening. They were rude, unfriendly and I wouldn’t pay $50 to stay at this hotel. I should have realized their were issues when I walked in. The person working the desk when I arrived was outside on her phone and continued to go back and forth. The drink machine was out of order. It was hot in the lobby. Their was no ice except for in the kitchen. The fountain drink machine was broken. The pantry was barely stocked with anything. Do not stay at this hotel!
