We just returned from a great stay at the Jenkins House which has 2 bedrooms (queen beds), 1 large bath, a kitchen, living room/dining room, a nice patio for 2, air conditioning, and free parking. Monique has breakfast items (eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, fruit, milk, orange juice, etc), and desserts delivered daily so that you can prepare breakfast when you are hungry. The house has daily clean up service as well as a dishwasher, washer and dryer for your use (or not!). Monique gave us a great concierge run down of restaurants, shops, and activities at the beginning of the trip as well as some gift certificates for great meals and some wine to enjoy at the house - we even made two bottles of sangria with one of the bottles and the fruit (strawberries, melon, grapes). Savannah is a wonderful city with 22 squares, great shopping, fantastic food, and multiple city tours. It is easy to walk everywhere. Nice beaches are about 25 minutes away on Tybee Island. We tried both North beach (nice bar and grill!) and central beach; both had chairs and umbrellas for rent. St Simon Island, Hilton Head, and Bluffton are within driving distance for nice day trips. Our family really enjoyed Savannah (even more than Charleston!). I would not hesitate to return.

Booked reservation and had to cancel as plans changed. I canceled before the deadline as stated on Booking.com( free cancellation). I had to send an email and call to request my refund back a month later! The owner at that time said she was charging me an administration fee of $25.00( even though it was free cancellation), which she did. Several calls later with Booking.com have incurred to rectify. Buyer beware!

My husband and I spent 4 nights and 5 days at the perfect place in Savannah Ga March 18th thru 22nd 2019. It was within walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see and do. We stayed in a private cottage called the carriage house at the Armstrong Inn on the corner of Taylor and Broad with the most helpful and amazing host Joshua . We took our time to explore the sights of Savannah sleeping late on the best bed which was a feather bed that brought back childhood memories of spending weekends at my grandmothers who had feather beds.my daughter is planning on staying there next year on her birthday and if I ever return Armstrong will be the place for me Thanks Monica and Joshua for helping make our stay so memorable Jerry and Princess 😊

HOTELS BE GONE ARMSTRONG INN IS HERE! I travel frequently and if you are tired of sterile overpriced hotels then Armstrong Inns are for you. We stayed at the Jenkins House and it felt like home as we sat in a well appointed living room of a two floor townhouse that was all ours. Monique Armstrong fills the home with warmth and pays careful attention to all details. Every day there is a visitor that comes like the good fairy. They do the dishes make the bed & tidy up leaving eggs, bacon, cheese, fruit and some pastry, The pecan and apple pie were magnifique! I was leaving on a flight 5:00 PM on Sunday. At a hotel I have to beg for one extra hour or pay for a day. I called Monique and because there was no one coming in that day she said I could stay up until my flight!! You cannot ask for more accomodating host and I can't recommend Armstong Inns high enough. Thank you Monique!

Stayed in the Carriage House which equated to a mini townhome fully outfitted with ammenities that went beyond our expectations! First of all total privacy, shabby chic decor and two gas fireplaces. Having owned and run a B&B for over ten years, we were very pleasantly surprised at the upscale touches Monique and her staff provided for a belated anniversary and birthday celebration. We were also in walking distance to dinner and the beautiful residential/historic areas of Savannah.
