The Savannah B&B surpassed all of my expectations! We desperately needed a weekend escape and this accommodation had all of the Savannah charm that we sought out. Situated right by the beautiful Chatham Square and close to Monterey Square, we absolutely loved the property and surroundings. As soon as you walk down the steps of the entrance, you are deep in the heart of the most beautiful historic district In the country. It was such a peaceful and quaint part of the historic district and at a great price. Only about 20 minutes walk to the river front and 15 or less to the majority of the squares nearby. We stayed in the Oriental room, which was nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable and each night we passed out in minutes! Street parking was surprisingly easy to find when we arrived on Friday afternoon, before checking In. We paid a couple of dollars for a few hours until 5pm when it became FREE for the rest of the weekend until we left which was a nice perk. The B&B is a row of townhomes combined and with a series of courtyards interconnected. There’s also two lovely resident cats that made morning coffee outside all the more enjoyable and homey. Don’t worry for allergic people; the cats stay outside. To be honest, we did not take advantage of the breakfast though it seemed good! The staff was always friendly. We will likely be returning in the future.

Property's Favorite Review
We have stayed at The Inn several times. There have been changes for example the external deck area for breakfast and now the excellent buffet style breakfast. The staff are very good and helpful, we have got to know some of them over the years. Definitely recommend for a very personal and different stay in Savannah.

We spent two nights in this quaint inn, very close to Forcyth square. It is a quiet setting, some rooms require you to go up a couple flights of stairs which we did not mind. We had a nice view of the Park. The inn was built in the 1800s and we love antiques so we enjoyed it. Great way to get a feel for the history offered by Savannah. Nice cook to order breakfast each morning, snacks each afternoon. Would definitely stay again. Very friendly staff.

Pros: Great historic feel. Comfortable beds. Breakfast included. Close to Forsyth park. Cons: Clean but not spotless. One mile walk to the river where most of the action is. This did not have the personal touch one expects in a b&b. We met the owner once briefly. Deal Breaker: Have they heard of Covid 19? The staff was very lax with mask wearing - a stupid move. When we met the owner she had no mask on. When I checked out in the lobby neither the manager nor the couple signing in were wearing masks!

This bed and breakfast is 5 townhomes combined in one property, with great courtyards between the front townhomes and the "carriage" houses in back. I stayed in the Ivy Cottage, which is a 2 story room in one of the back houses. It was a great space, with a kitchenette with refrigerator and coffee maker. A spiral staircase connects the 2 levels, which might be a problem for some. The staff was very nice. The location was great, an easy walk to the riverfront area.
