From the moment you walk in to this place, it gets you interested. The people who work here could not be any nicer or more accommodating! Our 2 queen bed room was extremely large and well appointed for an historic hotel. The pool is small but relaxing after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Coffee every morning, flavored water throughout the day and champagne from 5-6 every evening are just a few of the perks that make this place more than memorable. We also ate at the onsite restaurant…delicious! Plus, don’t miss signing up for one of the cooking classes. Chef Jason was terrific!! Absolutely one of the highlights of our stay! We will definitely be back!! Thanks for everything!!

Stayed at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. Terrific boutique hotel! Loved it. Valet Storie was quick, kind, and helpful. Thanks for taking good care of us. The front desk women were responsive to our requests and helpful finding a carriage ride. The concierge marked a map and gave good directions.

My husband and I stayed here for our 5 day Babymoon. It's a great location to be away from the craziness of the downtown area. (Only about a 20 min walk downtown) The location on the park was really nice and we were able to check out the farmers market on Saturday morning. The staff of the hotel was great and the hotel itself was gorgeous. I really liked the ability to text the front desk with any needs and the champagne hour was a nice touch. Our only issue was they only cleaned our room once and we had to ask for extra towels when our room wasn't cleaned. We also utilized the hotel pool on most day. While it is small, it was never busy and we were always able to get day beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Stayed one night for a couples vacation. Room was well appointed and clean with spacious bathroom. Art adds to the ambiance, worth walking around and exploring the gift shop, ballroom, and hallways. Guest service was impeccable, Raven at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Rented bicycles and toured the city, perfect.

I traveled to Savannah on a road trip with my mother and my aunts. I had done some research regarding the mansion and read lots of different reviews from others who visited. Once getting to the site, it was truly beautiful. The attendants out front were very receptive and helpful. Jayden loaded up our luggage and parked the car while we went to check in. We were welcomed to the mansion as we checked in and was given information regarding our room within minutes of stepping into the lobby. The mansion itself is beautiful and the room was absolutely breathtaking. Art and other decor displayed around the mansion and the room were also beautiful. We did not dine at the restaraunt, but were walking distance away from some great restaurants and very close to bus transportation (D.O.T. Department of Transportation) that was free from 7:00am-7:00pm which took us into areas like City Market and Ellis Square. Not to mention Forsyth Park sits right across from the hotel. The greatest thing about the bus, was that it traveled in a rectangular path, so if you miss your stop, which we did the first time, just wait until it comes around again. It didn't take that long to loop us back where we needed to get off. The only thing that caught me "off guard", because it wasn't shared anywhere I researched, was that the hotel holds an extra $200 when you check in, which was shared at check in, and there was a destination fee applied each day for our stay. Also, be sure to ask for the passcode for WiFi. The first night we connected by logging in based on our room number, which is a temporary connection that lasted one night. After calling guest service we were given the code to get all devices in the room online for the rest of our stay. I have absolutely no complaints or regrets. From the time we arrived up until the time we left the experience we had was excellent. I will definitely be visiting again. and taking advantage of different activities that are done on the property.

This is a beautiful hotel, but it misses the mark. The staff weren’t super helpful or friendly, the lady checking us in abandoned us halfway through for a more important guest. I also left an item behind and emailed the hotel several times and never got a response, they could at least acknowledge me. The room was not as clean as it should have been. There were several pubic hairs in the bathtub from a previous guest. The hotel has conjoined rooms which were super noisy. We could hear our neighbors tv all night. We had the do not disturb on our door and housekeeping knocked on our door anyway at 9am asking when we were going to leave. The only parking they offer is nearly $40 a night and valet. If you do decide to stay here, there is free street parking all around the hotel. Overall, this hotel is absolutely beautiful, but could benefit from new management. With all the options in Savannah, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

Expectation vs Reality strikes again. The website pictures do not accurately depict the current state of the property. The headboard to bed isn't as crisp, white, new... they are much older and look very cheap. The furniture throughout the property tattered, worn. Rooms need updating. Heavy drapery throughout the property are dust collectors. Rooms have no bright light- good luck with day time makeup application. No bathroom privacy - door to toilet is glass and only offers minimal visual privacy, as the door is not airtight.. husband would excuse himself to the downstairs facility. Would not recommend for newly formed couples. We were turned away at the restaurant at 9pm - because they closed at 10??? Who does this?? - but were offered the lounge - who gets their food from THE SAME KITCHEN. The pool area is underwhelming - very small. The furniture outside is weathered and dirty... not at all like the photos. *** Property does not have room service *** and the room came with zero property amenity information (menu, restaurant hours, spa, fitness center, etc). I recieved a card with a QR code for the spa from the FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER... who also informed us where the spa and on-site ATM were located Why? Isn't this front desk, check in, concierge stuff?? Pluses- the bed is comfy and housekeeping was really really nice. Concierge made a great food recommendation. Valet was extremely helpful upon arrival and opened the door every single time we left and returned. Overall experince was just average. The website really sells next level experience that is not actually met. The photos present elegance when the reality is cheap imitation. The staff was mostly professional- but you could tell a few of the employees were faking it... caught a few of the "looks" between them whenever a guest would ask a question or comment on something. Smarten up - you're the face of a business.

From the minute we arrived we could not ask for nicer more friendly helpful staff, Everyone went out of their way to make our stay perfect! Charlie the Concierge was outstanding and a help in every way. The city has a free shuttle service around town which he told us about, set up a great tour, and when we needed help with a business issue at home (faxes etc) he stepped right in and got someone to help. Can't wait to go back

The Mansion is a special kind of place to stay. After walking around in the Savannah heat I couldn’t wait to get back to the Mansion at the end of the day it’s like an oasis and feels like home! It’s the kind of place where the staff greets you by name and there’s cold wine and fresh baked cookies waiting for you every evening! If you are looking to stay in the middle of all the action with a modern feel this is probably not the place for you. It’s about a 20 min walk to the riverfront area. I love walking so it was not a problem for me but if it’s hot or you can’t walk probably not for you. It’s across the street from a huge famous park so it’s a much quieter peaceful area which I liked a lot. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. I took the cooking class with Chef Jason and it was such a fun delicious class. The pool area is small but really relaxing and private chairs are not super comfortable so you probably won’t fall asleep lol. The rooms are charming with old world feel. My only complaint is that no charging stations or alot of outlets it’s an older building so you might want to bring a strip if you have alot of devices. The star of the room? A HUGE soaking tub I loved this after a long day. Bring your bath salts and bubbles trust me you won’t be disappointed. Unfortunately the weather was over 100 degrees and there was no hotel shuttle to the downtown area while I was there ☹️ This hotel was just taken over by another hotel company so I hope the charm of the hotel doesn’t get taken away. It def needs a few upgrades but a great foundation is there. The staff is what makes the Mansion everyone was so friendly and helpful special thanks to Avril at the front desk The Mansion is a special kind of place to stay.
