Never mentioned the restaurant was closed for renovation. Parking on the street. Good luck.Valet was $55 for one night. More than NYC. The hotel had an off smell. Staff not very professional. The park view was a joke. Not the safest location.

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel was amazing, close to everything with many historical monuments. Car service was excellent, our valet Jaydn did a great job bringing our car fast and in a careful way! Best part of the trip for sure. The service is amazing won’t regret it.

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. It was a terrible experience. The whole place is furnished in a bordello, ostentatious way. The whole place has a worn, tired look as though it is past its prime. Our room had no cold water while the temperature was 95 degrees outside, so I had to take a hot shower! In addition, the room had a horrible smell, as though it had not been aired in quite a while. We turned on the air conditioner, but that did not help. I finally asked for another room, which was a bit better. The thermostat did not work when we tried to adjust it, so my husband and I were cold the whole night. No blankets were in the closet. There was not a safe for valuables. The restaurant and bar were closed due to an electrical problem. The car service was fine, the one time it was available. I do not recommend this place.

We are very dissatisfied. Since arrival this has happened: 1- Waited over 10min for check in person to arrive. 2- Upon arrival, the room was dirty. Trash in bins from previous guests, foul smell in the room. Changed rooms. 3. New room had old water in the ice bucket. 4. Room cleaning service did not service room, we returned by 1:40pm and still nobody had cleaned. The hotel has potential but service so far and cleanliness are beyond unacceptable.

They are understaffed. Receptionist s are nervous because of it and it looks unwelcoming. The lemon water jar ...they don't change lemons for few days, just adding water.Be aware of 45$ destination fee/day/room. 58$ parking fee/night/room,tips expected. Hotel is average for the price. Restaurant has a radish, small menu. They have nice piano in the hall, but my son couldn't play on it,it is just locked abd they keep it there fir beauty. Location is not bad. Bathrooms are funny, they have doors instead of wall. So there is no privacy really, I never saw anything like that. The sinks could be cleaner. I won't be back.

This hotel offers a great location, within walking distance to most attractions. They did offer champagne, every evening for the guests, which was charming. Note: the restaurant was only open for dinner, and their Wi-Fi did not work at all, two, specific things I look for, when booking a hotel.

It was a 'Meh' place desperately trying to be something it wasn't trading far too much on its location and building. Ostentatiously and tastelessly decorated and horrendously overpriced. We ended up with over $300 worth of unexplained taxes and charges (Wellness tax ? Historic district tax etc etc) I have been to far lovelier places for far less and not had to pay for the privilege of being given cheap, sweet champagne as an excuse for an overpriced dinner and breakfast not being included. I have it a star for location, a star for the very comfy bed and a star for the amazing bathtub. That's about it.

This hotel was the worst for the amount of money you pay to stay there.. We will never go back.. You couldn’t even enjoy the park across the street due to all the homeless people.. The air conditioning on the room did not work.. This was a waste of our hard earned money..

After 2 visits on different dates – we’re done. Pricey? The low room rate is offset by a myriad of add on fees. We all know there are add-on fees above the room rate, but the Mansion goes way beyond the statutory taxes & fees. My favorite – the “Destination Fee” which covers the hotel’s amenities – only two are noteworthy: use of a house car for travel up to a mile away and a glass of “champagne” (sparkling wine) for $42 plus tax. Whereas a Uber/Lyft round trip of 1 mile would be about $15 and a bottle of average “champagne” is less than $30. About the same cost, but you wouldn’t have to wait so long for the house car (30 minutes), and you’d have a whole bottle of “champagne.” Overall the add-on fees are about 50% of the room rate. The showers are disappointing. Three shower heads controlled by a knob that is impossible to select only 1 shower head. Each shower head spews water from the connector joint instead of the nozzle. The step-in showers leak water onto the bathroom floor. However, the vanity table is a nice feature of the room. Be aware that Valet Parking is $55/night plus tax and is very slow on retrieving your vehicle. Don’t bother to use the QR code or text message, call the desk. Appears no one reads the electronic messages.
