The house is nice and in a great location. On a quiet street, very near Forsyth park and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The room and bed were comfortable but it is very obvious that the rooms and the rest of the inn do not receive a regular thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs on the posts of... More

Many thanks to Kim and Nicole, loved the house. We will back, it's beautiful and full of character. Very laid back and at home feel, but still rich with historical value and old world charm. We recommend Savannah pedicab, ask for Tommy, he knows all the spots!

This is our second time staying at the Dresser Palmer, and we love it. It has the perfect ambience for a Savannah visit. It is charmingly historic, one block from beautiful Forsyth Park, and nestled in the Historic District. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and furnished with lovely antiques. The huge bathroom was updated with marble tile... More

We took a girls trip to Savannah. What an amazing city! We decided on the Dresser Palmer house and so glad we did. Just a short walk from Forsyth Park. This historic old home is absolutely beautiful. Some of us were on the 2nd floor which is quite a hike up some stairs so if you have a hard time... More

We stayed in the Conran Aiken room for weekend. We loved it because the room is in the back of the hotel and it feels very private. There was water, cookies and soda always available in the house. The neighborhood is so beautiful and is located a block away from forseyth park which was very convenient.

Visited Savannah for the first time on a mother/daughter trip. Booked the Dresser Palmer House based on location, reviews and company website. The Good: Easy check-in, helpful/nice staff, and great breakfast with a lot of variety. The Bad: The property was in much need of maintenance. The pictures on the website are not representative of the current condition of the... More

Hello Melissa H, I appreciate your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed the hospitality and great breakfast we deliver here. However, hospitality is multi-faceted. I am afraid we may have made missteps during your stay. The house is a historic property and requires so much maintenance daily. We have been slowly working on the home space-by-space replacing and restoring moldings,... More

The architecture is exquisite and the staff is unobtrusive and cordial. The location is on the west side of the historic district but certainly walkable to the riverfront. We stayed in the Waving Girl Room which is convenient and very pleasant. As usual interacting with the other guests was the highlight of the experience.

I can't recommend this room. The staff was great - breakfast was good. The main house was great. Didn't see any of the other guest rooms but they had to be better than the room we were in. Of course you don't know what you're getting until you're there but we felt like we were in the basement (which we... More

Very low key unobtrusive staff. Excellent breakfasts and lovely rooms. Set in the Historic District everything is pretty much in walking distance or a cheap cab ride away. If you drove there is free parking too. We really enjoyed our stay
