Such a lovely house, with a very homely feel to it. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. Delicious and varied breakfasts with the other guests were a great start to the morning. Excellent location for walking to the historic district and its sites, yet a charming, quiet, residential area. However, we stayed several days and were surprised that our room was... More

It was our wedding anniversary, and we wanted a romantic, quiet, elegant setting. Amethyst Garden provided all of that: lovely rooms, a quiet balcony where we could sip our Champagne while watching the moon and stars come out. And the garden pool was a great place to cool off after hours of walking Savannah's gorgeous historic streets. There may be... More

Loved this place, we had a suite downstairs and took full advantage of the courtyard. I had a panic attack two days before the trip as I couldn't find the booking confirm, but when I called all was well. We typically stay in older, historic hotels not usually B&B's, but really enjoyed this B&B experience. Breakfasts were amazing, best I've... More

Four of us stayed here for four nights, and I can't recommend it too highly. The rooms really give you a feel for the class and elegance of Savannah, and your hosts are welcoming and attentive without being the least intrusive. I particularly have to praise the hot breakfasts. Every morning was different and absolutely delicious. Probably the greatest grits... More

This is a great place to stay in Savannah. It's a beautiful Victorian house in a residential area. Not right downtown so you get away from the crowds but close enough to walk downtown and to the river. The breakfast is AMAZING - we paid for lots of food in Savannah but breakfast at the inn every morning ended up... More

The breakfast was amazing, we loved the Rose Room (no ghost sightings), and the location was perfect for a close walk to central Historic Savannah. We didn't have to touch the car our entire weekend. Chemise was lovely and even sent a recipe of her delicious pear cobbler after our stay. Beautiful Victorian house and a comfortable bed. Perfect for... More

We really enjoyed our 2 nights! Super friendly, helpful and nice folks, food was great and different each morning and there were always fresh baked cookies and candies out if you needed an afternoon snack! Wonderful historic home, walking distance to everything! Make sure to use the whole house and gardens - lots of great spots to enjoy a cup... More

I chose the Amethyst Inn because I specifically wanted to stay in a Victorian B&B on my first trip to Savannah. This house is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of areas within the house to sit and relax, rather than always sitting in your room. When I first arrived, Chemise had a map of the city waiting for me, complete... More

This is exactly what you expect when you think bed and breakfast. Great old building, nicely decorated in antique style, owners meet you at the door and couldn't be nicer, really feels like home. Jane makes a nice breakfast at 9 and you eat and have coffee with the other guests. It's in about the perfect location in the historic... More

We had such a great time at the amethyst inn! Jane and Rocky are true gems when it comes to hosting guests. Jane's cooking is incredible and Rocky was so helpful with getting us the maps and information about the city that we needed. Definitely worth staying here! Great location for walking all over the historic district and very close... More
