Fourth stay at this charming old place. First since the new pool area has been finished. We LOVED the pool and hot tub. We had it all to ourselves on a drizzly afternoon. When it was raining too hard we went into the indoor pool and enjoyed that. We also took our first tour of the Treehouse Masters tree house.... More

The views are wonderful, and the expansive porch is a perfect place to dine and watch the sunset. The staff is very responsive and helpful. Our room faced the rear, was quite large and comfortable. The lobby is lovely, and the furniture evokes both Frank Lloyd Wright and the earlier past. It is close to Fallingwater, Fort Necessity and on the... More

Stayed for two night in July and had a great stay. The hotel is old and holds a lot of history including actual room keys instead of plastic cards, the staff is fantastic and the food though a little pricey is well worth it. Try the chicken pot pie and Crabby eggs benedict. Awesome! Any place that churns it's own... More

The Summit Inn has a lovely setting and is lovely to look at, and the main public room has an atmosphere of the grand old tourist hotels. Another good point is that the women working behind the bar in the Wunder Bar make a good drink for a reasonable price. Otherwise. The hotel is dingy. The front desk staff are... More

The Summit Inn Resort is a beautiful place to relax. Our room was a corner king with a gorgeous view. The grounds are very nice with a hiking trail to a tree house, golf course, outdoor and indoor swimming pool. The food and service are exceptional. Looking forward to returning in the future.

We stayed here for 2 nights as it was close to Fallingwater and Kentuckknob. Our biggest surprise was the location: we didn't expect it to be right on the highway! The view was incredible and the grand porch was beautiful however the constant traffic noise was a distraction for us. The rooms are okay, but no extras - no in... More

This is a beautiful property with wonderful views, friendly, helpful and professional staff. My room had a million-dollar view!! I spent a very busy but relaxed weekend there. When I walked in I felt as if I was a guest in a Frank Lloyd Wright house! Impressive and very detailed! There is a lovely porch with rocking chairs on which... More

I felt compelled to write a review due to some of the negative reviews regarding the state of the hotel. This is a family-owned historic hotel, so the interior is not pristine as you might find in a corporate-owned property. But it is a step back into the past and is lovely. The view from many of the rooms, the... More

My daughters and I stopped at the Summit Hotel, top of the mountain going west on Rt 40 near Uniontown, PA. The view from the Hotel is breathtaking. We had a delicious lunch at the Hotel... The service and food were worth going back again. We spent some time taking pictures of the historic hotel. I remember one of my... More

We stayed one night at the Summit Inn since it was close to Fallingwater. We thought that it would be nice to stay at a historic inn. Though the lobby was beautiful and the veranda was great for watching the sunset, that did not make up for the inconveniences in the room. Though we could manage to get our suitcases... More
