I don't know how you find a chef who prepares so many different types of cuisine with such perfected skill, but Stonehouse has managed to find a culinary genius! We were in foodie heaven after stopping on our way home from a long trip. All of the food we had was beyond delicious and we all agreed we could not... More

The Stone House Inn was a very interesting facility. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food at the tavern was awesome with wide variety of choices. There was a motorcycle rally for BBQ Bike night while we were there, only issue was noisy when leaving about 10 PM or so. Drawbacks are that the tavern does not open until... More

Stopped on the way to visit Falling Water and we were not disappointed. The food was very tasty and the price was excellent. The menu is meat heavy but vegetarians can fine a nice meal as well. If I get back this way then I am going to try the gator ribs.

When booking our room at the Stone House Inn we were excited by the photos showing its setting and amenities... what a surprise to find it sits almost on top of the BUSY highway, not at all in the woods. The rooms may be Victorian but we asked for a quiet room after noting the road noise so were placed... More

The rooms are very old and out dated, I understand that it is an old B&B , but you can update beds, linens and bed spreads. Shower heads and faucets. The room was clean, but the photos are deceiving. The bar downstairs is excellent and the food looked great. Rooms on the road are loud all night long. I was... More

Stopped for lunch on our spring journey. The fish sandwich was one of the better fish sandwiches my husband has had in a long time, good in all respects. My Pittsburgh salad (skipped the fries ) included mixed greens, vegetables, a very moist grilled chicken breast and good balsamic dressing. Great craft beer selection and enjoyed eating in their pub... More

This "B&B" is within 20-30 minutes of the Falling Waters house (by Frank Lloyd Wright), the primary reason I wanted to stay in the immediate region. While there were a couple of larger hotels in the region, I usually enjoy the ambience of a B&B setting if within a similar price range. The first time I stayed at Stone House... More

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for 1 night near Fallingwater and Fort Necessity, and Stone House fit the bill. They contacted us to advise us that the restaurant would be closed when we arrived and therefore no one would be there to receive us, but they gave us instructions on how to get in and obtain... Our room left much to be desired!! From the armoir door that was broken off of the hinges, (masked by being simply hung in place), my husband was very nearly seriously injured!! The door lock that was falling off, to the world's absolute thinnest toilet paper, EVER, not to mention, absolutely zero storage, no hanging hooks or shelving in the... More

My wife & I with another couple stopped here on the way home from the casino for a bite to eat. If you like ribs, you gotta try these. They were the best I ever had. Smoked just right, tender fall off the bone, meaty, no gristle, excellent sauce. All 4 of us had them & all agreed they were... More
