We were familiar with Nemocolin’s reputation but we’re still blown away by the friendliness and competence of the staff. The room was a perfect temperature and the bed and bedding the best I’ve experienced. We will be coming back!!!

Nemacolin has a lot to do for kids but if you’re looking for amazing service and quality of food, I recommend the greenbrier. We were disappointed with hotel cleanliness and staff. We had a Grumpy butler who didn’t follow through on things. We had to call several times to get things done. Not what a vacation should be. The peak pool was our favorite part tho and great miniature golf. We have little kids so they would have been happy anywhere but a mom doesn’t want to have to clean & unfortunately that’s what happened in our experience.

The level of service we received while at Nemacolin was far less than I would’ve expected given the marketing/branding as well the high prices. We came in January when they knew full well there would be no snow for the winter activities. However, they did not notify us until three days before our arrival and the seven day cancellation window had passed. It was impossible to get someone to answer the phone at the concierge desk to help us come up with other backup activities. And to add insult to injury, when we checked out, they tried to charge us a $250 pet fee even though we did not bring a pet. I had simply asked if there was a pet fee when making a reservation. When I brought this up as being inappropriate to charge someone a fee without confirming if they brought their pet, I got a very arrogant response. I followed up after leaving the resort to express my concerns and never received a return call. Additionally, we stayed in the Washington townhomes which were very much in need of some repair.

We have been to Nemacolin numerous times and each time has been a memorable experience. They truly make you feel welcome and cater to your needs. Once we get thete we never want to leave. The resort is well taken care of and we have not met a staff member who was not pleasant.

The pictures do not do this gem justice. It is top notch from the customer service, food, grounds, and overall amenities. It is nested on beautiful grounds and there truly is something for everyone here. You can come as just a couples trip with many adult only areas, Or take the family and let the kids run at the peek. Just fantastic in every way. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing weekend! The food, the room, the property and more were top notch. Every staff member was polite and professional. Our room was clean and well kept. Food at Rockwell's, TWICE because it was that good. We zip lined, rock wall, pool, animal feedings, walked all over and more. You're sure to enjoy your time here!

Stayed at the townhome. The property was located in a beautiful valley. The townhome it self wasn’t in great condition. Wall paper peeling off. Dusty. Wasp nest on the back patio. Both children got bitten. Food at the pool wasn’t great. Was served rotten grapes. Food was taken off bill but manager never came to attend. Next day one of the child had a high fever. Requested later check out to see if we can calm the fever. Denied because the type of room we were in.

We love this property for many reasons - probably first and foremost because of the staff and level of service they provide. Everyone makes you feel welcome and they go out of their way to provide an amazing experience. The property is set in the Laurel Highlands region of Western PA with amazing views - there is a real feeling of exclusivity and tranquility. The list of activities for children through adult is extensive and there is something for everyone. Highly recommend this amazing destination and want to make this an annual event on our travel calendar.

The last time we were here everything seem to work out well, from check in to departure. This time, I called the day before to see if our room would be available to check in early we were told yes, definitely. At check in they said room was not ready they would put a rush on it, this was at 12:30, we got a call at 3:57 it was ready, that was a rush? If they would have said the day before no you cannot check in early, I would not have had a problem with that. They asked me at check in if the phone number they had on file was correct to text. I said no that's my home phone, gave them my cell number, when it was ready they called my home phone so of course, I didn't get it. Both pools were very dirty, not only extreme amount of dead bugs, but the Peak pool had cups at the bottom, pieces of foam and debris floating, and it wasn't because short on help. There were many employees standing around doing nothing. I'v stayed at many deluxe resorts, never saw a pool so terribly dirty. The hot tub at the Paradise pool was the same in addition to that pool, also. When I reserved our room I requested a nice view. Our balcony had a view of a wall and the roof, which was the reason we reserved a suite, since I was guaranteed a balcony. It also had a cigar butt (which was from the guests before us), sitting in the corner of the floor with leaves etc. You could tell it was not cleaned at all for the 5 days were there and beyond. The food at the restaurants was good and servers were very good. For a resort that boasts it's upscale lodging, and for it's nightly rates that are charged, we expected more, this was below expectations. We did voice our disappointment to staff and asked that it be shared with management. Evidently it meant nothing since we heard nothing. The topper on the cake was when we checked out they did not even ask how our stay was, nothing!! In all the resorts we have stayed, that was a first!

Nemacolin did not disappoint. The grounds are spectacular and the upkeep is immaculate. We stayed at the Chateau and from the moment we arrived we were treated with five star service. Our room was wonderful...large with tasteful decor. We thoroughly enjoyed the Lounge on our floor where we had wonderful conversation and cocktails. We especially wanted to thank our butlers, Jordan and Brandon, who went above and beyond to make our stay very special right up until our departure. We look forward to our return.
