I booked this hotel in 2018 with Arletta for our church group. We had fourteen rooms. Arletta was very patient and went out of her way with the contract. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Kristy. She was very professional. I had requested a two Queen Bedroom suite (they only have three suites in the entire hotel and one of the delegates had the King). My room had been extended to a previous person. Therefore, we took the last king suite. The room had a horrible smell which Kristy and staff tried very hard to get rid of. The second day I had the manager on duty come up and smell the room and he confirmed that horrible had not abated. They were kind enough to ask the person in the room we originally requested if they would they switch and thankful they did. The suites are spacious with two burners on the stove, full refrigerator and microwave. Kristy should be a general manager. She was very professional and by the book in leaving notes for the persons who needed to be made aware of certain things. She tried to address the complaints of cleanness of the rooms with housekeeping. The housekeeping staff leaves little to be desired (otherwise this would be a five star rating). They were outside smoking more than cleaning. The breakfast was good and staff was excellent. Our delegates truly enjoyed themselves at the hotel. They felt the staff at the front desk was awesome and praised Kristy for a job well done. Kristy has a heart for people. We will stay again on our return to Baltimore.

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to the Baltimore area. We chose this hotel because of the closeness to the Horseshoe casino which is right next door. It’s a nice hotel and is pretty clean. Could use a bit of updating.

1st of all, I was not expecting much from a Holiday Inn express, however, this was a great stay. The rooms were very comfortable the staff was very friendly and they had a really nice hot breakfast buffet with everything you could think of. when you 1st walk in the lobby smells very nice and looks very clean. The hotel is clean throughout and our room even smelled like cookies lol. the amenities and little extras were great. the area its in.... not so great... but they cannot control that.

I booked online at the wrong Holiday Inn express and got grief from the other hotel on Gay street. The manager (Chris) at the Holiday Inn Express stadiums was very helpful and got the other hotel to waive the cancellation fee. We wanted the one close to the University of Maryland Medical Center as my wife is a patient. The bed was fine. The shower had lots of water pressure. There were no wash cloths though. Also an anti slip mat in the shower would have helped tremendously. I didn't know they were available but you have to ask for it. By the time I noticed there were no wash cloths or an antislip mat, I was already in the shower. Breakfast was warm. Would have liked the omlet WITH egg yolks. Staff was very courteous and friendly. You do have to pay $15 to park there though.

The location and price is on point but the real win is the extraordinary customer service experience. I believe Chris is a manager but either way he went out of his way for our comfort. Highly recommended!! Will return.
