Hi, I stayed at this Radisson on March 19-20, 2022 and had a terrible experience there. Working to resolve it with the hotel but it's been a week since my complaint to Radisson customer care and nothing... crickets. I'm wondering if anyone else stayed in this hotel recently because they likely had a similar experience. Parking is $30 per 24 hours. The garage is extremely run down with flooding/standing water in a large area and tight, difficult to manage parking spaces. We wandered around looking for a door to access the hotel from the garage as well because there is not clear signage. Finally accessed a side door which led to an elevator - next to the elevator was a sign posted with duct tape which detailed out how to recognize sex trafficking in the hotel (???) Got to the room and the thermostat was set to 83 degrees - temps outside were high 70s that day so it felt like a sauna, so uncomfortable! We turned the thermostat down to 62 and left the room for the evening, expecting it to be significantly improved upon returning. We chose the Radisson because of an event we had tickets to (Dinner Detective Mystery) and know that it is not safe to walk around at night in that part of Baltimore, thus the reservation here. The food at the event, catered by the hotel, was terrible - rubbery chicken, overcooked potatoes, food was not warm when brought out. Upon returning to the room it had not cooled down AT ALL. There is no comfortable way to sleep in a room above 80 degrees, especially one you paid over $100 to do so. I called the front desk to get a room change and they told me that the hotel is in "winter mode" (never heard of that!) which they explained to mean that hotel management has overridden thermostats in all rooms with one temperate throughout the hotel - 83 degrees. No apology, no explanation, no remedy. Unacceptable. At that late at night we were scared to change hotels because of safety reasons, so we were stuck. We opened the window - a full 2 inches and stripped down to our underwear to lay under a sheet and sweat it out for the night. It was an unusually warm night so the window did no good & the sounds of sirens and cars going over the sewer covers outside prevented any kind of quality sleep. We ended up leaving early the next morning completely tired and disappointed. I have called Radisson customer care twice now and still no remedy. I want my money back!! Do not go to this hotel. It is shady, uncomfortable, and the customer service is... nonexistent. :-(…
Don’t waste your time the hotel is not open for the public they well set u up for the hotel next door the charged me $206 for 1 night when it was suppose to be $120 !!! Then they try take $100 for a one night stay ! 50 for the closed hotel and 50 for the one the put me in !
the rooms were never cleaned during our stay, you had to go down to reception for fresh towels and bedsheet. Leave your rubbish/trash outside the room door for it to be collected, cockroaches started to appear throughout the latter stages of our stay. Hardly any staff visible around the hotel besides behind the hotel reception. There where buckets placed in the lobby to catch leaking water from the cleaning. Not to mention of the 3 front doors, entrances only one side one was working. This was an experience I wouldn't recommend for anyone. Very poor Experience for me and my family who travelled from abroad to stay here. Parking garage was terrible.
Very nasty and dirty place to stay it was not sanitized at all. Not a great place for families to stay. Need to be renovated!! Roach infested!! The staff need more training as well. Some of they staff are rude!!
Will not recommend at all. They room was small and dirty and the people staying in the next door rooms were just loud and doing drugs all night. I was not happy at all and will not be bringing back my family
I don't have time to write a long review, but I'll give a brief list of amenities. I also don't know that a single one of these was a big deal. But add them together, and I've had enough. The only way this place can call itself a Radisson is because they must have stolen the sign from s real one. * Mold on ceiling and walls. * The little visitor in the bathroom (see photos). * Door to wall plumbing hanging open/can't close. * Towels from previous day's guest still in bathroom. * Shampoo/Conditioner bottles left from previous day (seal was broken, normally I would have never looked, but by now I was suspect). * Several wood screws laying in parking area at main door. You know, right where you can drive over them. Radisson will be getting a bill if I end up with a flat by the way. * $30 parking. Now, I don't care about that. I knew I had to pay. They told me. I didn't have to park, so if I want to, I have to pay. No issues there. The issue is the garage. It is essentially a boiler room that just dead ends with no warning. No signage, no direction, no anything. One portion was actually flooded, so I felt it best to not drive in there. Especially with my potentially punctured tires. Just a disaster. Normally, I think bad reviews are often overreaction. In this case however, take all the bad reviews out there into account when making a choice about this place. It should be a crime to charge people money for this place.…
Thankful for such excellent services. Your hotel have a spectacular team. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the rooms are clean and very confortable. The wonderful attention of your Ambassador OMAIRA invites me to recommend your hotel for vacations and your family stay. Great idea, the coffee in the Lobby. Congratulations!!!
If I could give a place a negative amount of stars this would be the place. Upon checking in my husband had to kill a roach before it went into my bag. This hotel is not maintained well at all. Carpet filthy and ripping up in the lobby. Could barely open our door as they have probably painted the door 100 times instead of ever cleaning it. I literally thought we were going to have to call down to the lobby to get out of our room. The room upon entry looked like it was ok. But nope that was gross too. Dirty shower, some type of black gunk stuck to the top of the toilet seat. Inside the heater looked like an animal was living in it. Thank goodness it wasn’t cold enough that we needed to use it. They should not be able to use the photos they have on their website. It’s not even remotely close to what they perceive it to be. I’m so disgusted I’ll never even try another Raddison again. They shouldn’t even be able to charge $50 a night in this place.…
Stay did what it needed to do. Easy checking, nice upgrade. Room was dry but bed was comfortable. Some leftover items were found in room but wasn’t an issue for me personally, just hope it’s a different story next time.
The hotel staff clearly don’t clean well , had to switch rooms and the shower curtains were still dirty and you could see stains all on the tile , shower water was harsh and left my skin stained and very dry
