My wife and I stayed at Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor from Sunday, August 21 through Thursday, August 25, 2022. I am a Hyatt Globalist and received many loyalty benefits. One of the most important things to me is the response to my requests on room preparation and early check in. I sent an email to the hotel the day before my arrival and made 2 requests. Our room was prepared as requested and was ready when we arrived around noon on Sunday, August 21. Vannie, a front desk associate, was very efficient, courteous, and helpful in making sure all my Globalist benefits are provided by the hotel. My wife and I liked our harbor view hotel room, which has elegant wall paper, good working thermostat for control of room temperature, good furniture, and a very large television. There is a small fridge with a glass front door; it worked well and we store fruits and bakery items to enhance our enjoyment of local specialties. House keeping was good and I believe my Globalist status played a role in getting the special attention. Our house keepers were courteous and efficient in cleaning our room. Our interactions with the house keepers were also very positive. We dined at Bistro 300 every morning during our stay. We also had dinner at Bistro 300 a few times. Service was prompt and courteous and food was good. Dinning area is open but not busy. We could get a seat easily. We liked the openness of the dining area and could imagine the glorious days of the restaurant business before Covid hit hospitality industry. Overall, the hotel is tastefully decorated and has a very nice open area on second floor. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back when we visit Baltimore again. …
Don’t enjoy being woken up by construction/reconditioning. Fairly certain there was an alternative room we could have been assigned to not get woken up around 0700. Pillows were extremely hard, but staff was friendly!
Room was non smoking … door closed to bathroom, upon opening, reeked of smoke. Towels, shower curtain, Kleenex … ugh. The room itself was a good size. The control for heat/ac had a mind of its own. I set at 68 degrees. During night was very hot … checked thermostat … 76!
Everyone was so attentive and courteous. Everyone had a smile on their faces and greeted you always. Exceptionally well run hotel. I would absolutely stay here again and again! I wish I remembered specific names but I don’t.
Bad experience. Asked for complementary water. Told to go to reception to collect it. We are asked to leave our rooms earlier than the regular check out without prior notice for an “event”. Spoke to the manager who didn’t do anything about it. Had to stay in the lobby for 3 hours waiting for our ride with our luggage.
Very Satisfied with the service and the food and the housekeeping. The room was spacious and the view was great. The staff was very supportive so I was able to get rest and also get work done in a very comfortable setting. There were several convention activities happening simultaneously (I attended one of them) and the hotel managed them marvelously in terms of space and receptions and support.
This was a solo bday stay for me overseeing the inner Harbor in Baltimore. I was greeted upon entry by valet (didn’t use that service) check in also greeted me upon eye contact very professional I was offered & given a discount off of my room (being it was my bday). I ate dinner at Bistro 300 (cleaned the plate) located inside of the hotel. The atmosphere gave off good energy/vibes. The only downside was the room didn’t have a microwave. I recommend this hotel & I plan to return.
The room was filthy! The toilet and shower was disgusting! The hotel ran out of wash cloths so therefore we had to use our socks as wash cloths! Our family members room had wash cloths with holes in them that look like a rag you clean the toilet with
This was horrible. The lobby has an open plan that goes up through the 5th floor. The bar is on the 3rd floor. Our room was on the 5th floor near the elevator so not tucked back at all. We could hear ALL the noise from the bar Satruday night until 1am. It was so incredibly loud and we didnt sleep at all. My daughter was a complete mess. At 12:15 a.m. when I called the front desk they did offer to move us but by the time we packed up and moved it would have been 1am or later make the whole move pointless. I've never stayed in a hotel where the noise from the bar is that bad. My daughter had to be up at 6:30 a.m. for a competition. She's still recovering fromthe massive sleep deprivation.
