Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Location was conveniently across from the inner harbor. Overall very nice value for the rooms. The pool area was closed during my stay, so cannot comment on that. But the gym looks nicer in the picture than it was. 2 out of 3 treadmills worked. The air in the gym was stuffy. They could use some floor mats, but overall equipment was decent. Individual TV screens on equipment were useless/not connected to cable/internet. On day 3, there were no towels. And no water near the gym at all.
I would have booked the hotel next door if I would have know the difference in the price for an almost identical hotel. I enjoyed my room. All I did was shower and sleep a couple of nights. $569 for two nights is RIDICULOUS!!! That includes local taxes and fees like everywhere else, but it was DEFINITLEY not worth a half of a THOUSAND dollars for two night of sleep and two showers.
Had an amazing stay at Hyatt Regency Baltimore. Hotel was very clean and customer service was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was seamless. Would definitely return to this hotel.
What happened to microwaves in the rooms? Just wanted to warm some food without having to go down the elevator to the lobby to access a microwave. Other than that, everything else was great. Oh and next door neighbor bad young screaming kids and you could hear them through the wall.
Located close to many restaurants, water taxi, science museum, Aquarium and historic ships. They provided new towels only upon request, they did not clean the room in 3 night stay though I requested that on day 2. Average bed comfort. I thought I am paying $169 as I agreed , ended $195 the difference were all taxes All together I was expecting more . It gets a little silly when there is not a bottle of water in the room ! The conference facility was well equipped .
Shaleesa and Kasandra took care of all my needs at the front desk. Great service matters and they were most accommodating. Stayed as a globalist member and got the suite upgrade. 900 sq feet, plenty of space to spread out. While the regency club is currently closed, the breakfast is complimentary. The steak omelette is massive and the Baltimore Benny (Crab Eggs Benedict) is delicious. Shout out to Javier and Penny at breakfast. Laundry room access is available upon request and washer/dryer service is free (just need detergent and such).Gym is better than most hotels. Location is right next to the inner harbor!
could improve communication, room was only cleaned once on a 4 overnight, had to ask for supplies and was not brought correct supplies, should not have to call more than one time for toilet paper or coffee supplies
People running and yelling in the hallway throughout the night. Impossible to sleep at night. Batteries in remote died and are not replaceable. Carpet in hallway was atrocious. Trash in stairwell. Unhelpful/uninterested staff at restaurant.
I would stay at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore again. The lobby was welcoming and smelled great! The room was nice. My only negative comment is that the wallpaper was peeling a little bit in the room. Other than that, the room was comfortable and clean. The front desk staff were also very nice and helpful with guiding us to great food in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of Baltimore's Charmtastic Mile which is within the Inner Harbor. Nice views and nice people.
While I understand little can be done about it, I would be remiss if I didn't say that the road noise (even on the 10th floor) was 24/7 and it was disruptive to a good night's sleep. Furthermore, after my stay, I called with a question regarding the charges to my credit card and received horrible customer support from the team members that took my call. They were not helpful at all and made no bones about the fact that they were completely annoyed and bothered by my call. Unfortunately, I can't say that I would willingly stay at this hotel ever again.
