I do agree there is a concern about safety when it comes for the pandemic. No extra measures except a extremely poor front desk customer service. I wonder how they can allow her to be at such position. You have to buy a bottle of water because there's not one in your room. The customer service agent I had back in May or June 2020 was horrible. There wasn't any room service available at that time. I hope there's some descent services that have reestablished since i have an upcoming stay with them this week. But, C5619UTmichaelt is right.
DO NOT STAY HERE DURRING THE COVID PANDEMIC!!! VERY UNSAFE!!! I stayed her the first week of August 2020 and I did not feel safe at all. the week before I stayed at a Hampton Inn in DC and They made me feel very safe, hand sanitizer everywhere, stickers over the door jamb saying the room was sanitized and no one had been in since. Only one person (or Family) in the elevator at a time. Never saw staff without a mask. No room service during your stay. This hotel had NONE of this. There was some hand sanitizer at the front desk, thats the only one I saw. The first morning rooms service came into my room while I was in it, and WASN'T WEARING A MASK!!! One of the hotel staff tried to get into an elevator with me. They came in and so I felt I needed to get out. There was nothing in the room that said the place was sanitized. This hotel is not a great hotel to start, but the COVID response was really unsettling. As far as the hotel goes, the rooms are dated. there is no power outlet at the sides of the bed, you have to move the mattress if you want to charge your phone while in bed. Bathroom is incredibly small. I'm 5'10" and the shower head was at my forehead. I had to bend down to wash my hair. There is no power outlet build into the desk. there is one wall outlet next to the desk to plug one thing in. You could always unplug the light if you wanted a second plug available. In 2020 this hotel feels like 1990.…
Attended here with NEA who had a conference at the hotel, room was as you expect in a holiday inn, clean functional and air conditioning used swimming pool and conference facilities. Such as food breakfasts etc Would use again
Staff was pleasant. Hotel is run-down. First room we tried was in the North tower. It was a small hike from the main lobby with all our luggage. Stepped off the elevator to a strong odor of mildew. Got into the room and it smelled so strongly of mildew or cats or both so we had to leave. The front desk cheerfully gave us a new room in the main building. The new room’s smell was only mildly better but I decided to just deal with it. Still it was strong enough that I had to take an allergy pill. I would expect this from a 2- or 2.5- star hotel but not a 3 star. Large stains on the carpets both in the rooms and in the hallways. Peeling paint on the door. Bathroom ceiling looked like it had water damage that was just papered over. Tub was super slow to drain so it felt like I was taking a bath and shower at the same time. Toilet didn’t flush well. On the plus side, the beds were clean and comfortable. I would not stay here again, however. …
We spent 6 beautiful days here. It's a great location. I enjoyed the food and drinks. My room was clean. Bed was comfortable. However what made out stay a 5 star was Mario. He was helpful, professional, down to earth and kind. We will be back because of him. Part of travelling is a clean and quiet room but the most important is meeting the people such as Mario and Effi who made our experience a memorable one. I encourage management to share this positive review with Mario. We will come back. Thank you everyone! What a great staff!
