We had an awful experience at our time at this hotel and felt extremely scared. After security tried to end a loud party, cops were eventually called to help. Super loud music, tons of drunk people, and during COVID-19? We complained and were asked to move so we could get some peaceful sleep. The security made us take a secret way out in fear of our safety. (SCARY) We woke up at 12:05AM to the sound of someone breaking into our room. We were thankful the extra lock was there or someone would have been in our room. The person kept trying to get in and my family was holding the door while my mother was calling the front desk and 911. How did they have our key to our room? Where did that person go? Who was the person with? Absolutely terrifying and management was very slow to react and made it sound like not a big deal. Please check security footage and find this person. Short black hair with bangs. We moved hotels and waited till the security guard and cops escorted us out. We are extremely disappointed in this hotel and scared out of our minds. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!…
Stayed here 4 nights while in town for a conference at the Convention Center. Nice size room with refrigerator and safe. Good wifi -- free when you join their rewards program. Easy walk to convention center. Located directly across the street from Inner Harbor and visitor center. Many restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Note that self park is $30 per night. Would definitely stay here again.
Worst experience ever. On December 4th (my birthday) I booked a stay at the Royal Sonesta in a presidential suite. My stay was nothing less than surprising. There were about 5 guest including myself in the suite at the time. I got a knock at the door from security stating they received a noise complaint. During my time inside the suite there wasn’t any loud noise. I didn’t have a speaker in the room music was being played from a phone and the only game that my guest were playing was uno. Security stated he had to come up about the noise level and if another complaint was received that everyone including myself would have to leave. About 30 mins after the encounter with the security guard i went to the parking garage to retrieve items from my car on my way back to the suite I cross paths with the same security guard again and asked if he was coming from my suite. He stated yes they received another noise complaint and the guest that filed the noise complaint actually packed their things and left. Security confirmed that I also had to leave as well as my guest. I didn’t understand why I was still asked to leave after the guest had already made their exit. Security stated that it was protocol. Me and my guest were asked to leave at or around 3am. In the beginning as stated this was something that was planned for my 28th birthday I am staying in a suite enjoying my time I didn’t think that me booking with this hotel for the first time would require me to be as quiet as a mouse during my stay. Would not recommend.…
We stayed 3 nights before we moved to a Johns Hopkins hotel. Location was great. Personnel was helpful and professional but lacked sincerity. We had no housekeeping due to Covid. Magnifying mirror in bath didn’t work properly. I had to ask for new towels twice. I requested a bar of soap. Instead, I received 4 bottles of shampoo and 2 bottles of shower gel. If we come back to Baltimore, we will not stay here again.
I had to travel with my family in the middle of a pandemic, and they guarantee cleanliness and the room was filthy, and we found a bottle of urine behind the curtain. Dirty, Dark, horrible. Don't believe the pictures! Terrible place! Don't put your families in danger! They do not follow the cleaning rules.
