Before deciding on Gramercy Mansion, we toured nearly 20 wedding venues in Baltimore and surrounding areas. We were very nervous when we finally made a decision to book Gramercy, but this decision turned out to be one of the best ones we have made in our lives. We booked the Platinum Wedding Weekend Package. This allowed us to have full access to the mansion Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. We highly recommend this package as, even though it is more expensive, it allows you to get up to 30 of your closest friends and family together for the entire weekend, not just the wedding itself. Leading up to the weekend, we asked nearly 100 questions via email. Each email was answered quickly and without a sense that we were being obnoxious with our questioning. They were there to help and that was a comforting feeling leading up to our wedding weekend. Upon arrival on Friday afternoon, Gramercy staff immediately came out to help unload our cars and get everything situated before the rest of our guests arrived. Every staff member was incredibly kind and helpful and really contributed to our magical weekend. They continued to be helpful throughout the weekend, including printing our wedding vows the day of our ceremony! Everything from the mansion staff to the grounds and everything in between was everything we could have hoped for. If you are considering booking Gramercy Mansion for your wedding weekend, you will not be disappointed. It was absolutely incredible!

Lovely mansion, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast made to order. A perfect stay! This was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. It would also be a wonderful venue for an event like a wedding or other group celebration.

We attended a family wedding at Gramercy, and a number of the wedding party booked rooms to stay overnight. Everything was just beautiful… the wedding venue, the food (catered by one of their recommended providers), and the entire event. The room we stayed in (Aphrodite’s Retreat) was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The mansion is unique… everywhere are interesting Knick knacks, the walls are covered with art, and most of it is for sale. The staff at the mansion was very hospitable and accommodating, and the breakfast included with the stay was delicious. Highly recommend Gramercy as a place for your special event… or even just for a getaway!

I came with my daughter to attend a concert in Baltimore. From start to finish, our stay at the Gramercy Mansion was top notch! The staff were friendly and very accommodating, both the private guest rooms & the common rooms were so inviting and simply gorgeous, and the grounds are just spectacular! Definitely going back for another stay soon!! Highly recommend!

It was an awesome experience. I especially loved the privacy that we had in the Tower Room, and everything about the room. To be completely honest, although the upfront price may seem expensive, YOU CANNOT BEAT the overall comfort level and attention to detail that you experience here. My wife and I were married at the Gramercy in 2012, and return every year for our anniversary. I cannot express thoroughly how much we enjoy our time here each and every time. If you are looking for a private retreat where you are left alone to enjoy your mate, then this is the place for you. No distractions, no hearing someone in the adjacent room, an open floor plan in each room unlike a run of the mill hotel, just simple elegance, with beautiful gardens to tour and take pictures that you will cherish and remember for years to come.

Place in in need of a thorough cleaning and renovation. No bar area, no congregation of people and things to do. There is no restaurants on premises and the place is wall to wall pictures, Knick-knacks and dated things throughout. Every square inch of space had a picture hanging on it. Felt like I was in a cheap art gallery on the boardwalk in ocean city…and, all with price tags hanging on them. Pool was filthy dirty and not even open and needed attention as much as the grounds. Weeds, terrible flower beds, trash outside in the common area and blocking parking spaces. A wedding was taking place and yes, that venue looked nice. Not much to praise after that. I could go on and on but why kick the dead horse.

Hi EagleBuildingService, Thank you for taking the time to write such a candid review. While we know Gramercy Mansion is not for everyone, we are sorry that we did not live up to your expectations. We are a bed and breakfast, so we do only serve breakfast, but we do have many menu's of restaurants that are about a mile down the road from our location. We also have a discount card for our guests that visit those restaurants. We are also a gift shop with many pieces of art and antiques, and we are sorry if you felt that didn't suit the theme of the mansion. Our pool was being filled for the season during your stay, so yes it was still dirty because it hadn't been cleaned quite yet. We do pride ourselves on the upkeep of our gardens, and again we are sorry to hear that you felt they needed work. We hope that you give us another try in the future! Cheers! Shannon

My stay at Gramercy Mansion was AMAZING!!! It was a beautiful and incredibly peaceful place. The gardens were lovely, the birds chirping and the leaves rustling in the wind were the backdrop for a serene getaway. I was able to relax and breathe!!! The staff were ever so accommodating in making my stay as wonderful as possible. They were very friendly. They even brewed me my own little pot of chamomile tea on my first evening there. It was in a lovely antique tea pot. I even got to talk with the owner who was also very friendly. The mansion is very quaint, clean beautifully decorated oozing with charm. The homemade breakfast is delicious! The mulled cider is super good. As for my nights sleep, I slept so incredibly sound…I haven’t slept that good for a long time! My room was great (Bar Harbor). The shower had pretty tile and was clean. The bed was comfortable and clean as well. My room had a flat screen TV, and a mini fridge and microwave too. I could not have asked for more and was the best two nights I’ve had in a long long time. This B&B is a 10 star place!
