Stayed here for a real estate summit/conference because they were offering a discount for summit guests. It was convenient with the conference being where we were staying.

Pros:
Updated, clean, modern, stylish rooms
Comfy bed and pillows
Huge television and refrigerator
Great view of Baltimore harbor
Cool restaurant/bar area
Request things from your phone like soap and towels, and check in from phone to get a mobile key and there’s no need to even stop at the front desk

Cons:
$26/parking
WiFi is not free
No microwave in the room (I’ve stayed at more affordable places with a refrigerator, microwave and free WiFi)
The sliding barn door on the bathroom is trendy and all, but gives zero noise privacy and the light shines through the glass, blinding the other person sleeping in the dark room
The smoke detector or whatever it was, mounted on the wall facing our beds, was blinking a white light all night like a tower so planes don’t hit it

Overall this hotel is very nice and obviously modern and trendy BUT the parking and WiFi thing was a big put-off for me, especially with the prices you pay per night. Seems greedy and unnecessary to charge for WiFi in 2020. Also, give hotel guests some kind of discount for parking (I was told the parking garage is run by the city). Those two things alone will make me look into other hotels next time we’re in Baltimore. If you don’t care about spending $80+ in parking and $12/day for WiFi, and are traveling alone, you might love it here.

This hotel is in a great location. The room is very clean and the view from the 26th floor is amazing. As others stated the bathroom situation is interesting as it is not private at all.
My frustration is that I requested extra towels and a blanket in the early afternoon (4 pm upon checkin), which we honestly should have had already as we booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, but only 2 towels...and no sort of extra blanket for the “sofa”. Honestly this really should not have been a room that showed up when I put in for this many people because it doesn’t really accommodate us at all. My son is not happy to sleep on this “sofa” which is hard as a rock and has no bedding. And our other child Is squished in the bed with us. At 8 pm after a trip to the desk and another phone call we still didn’t receive what we needed until 8:20.
The room was very warm all night despite what we set the thermostat on, then our alarm was set by the previous guest and went off at 5:30 am, waking us all after a late night due to not having blankets and towels. Also, since this room doesn’t really accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids, no one slept well.
This is a beautiful hotel aesthetically with a great location, but sadly I do not think we will stay here again.

Waterfront hotels and restaurants tend to be overpriced and low in amenities or service, this Marriott is no exception. We were there to attend a wedding and did not stay overnight, mainly due to the price point. During the times of pandemic, many businesses do not have well trained staff, we experienced that here as well. Dinner tables and buffet lines were poorly serviced with hardly anyone showing up at times. I asked quick questions to couple of personnel, those were simply ignored. Self parking is either in a third party owned garage, $25, or valet paeking, $46. Self parking happens at "Public parking", which is on the 5th and 6th floor of the garage, those floors are not even reserved by the hotel. Parking on lower floors will invite a tow truck, I was told by a passerby, we must choose the 5th or 6th, but that important info was not shard by the hotel reception when I called them twice. There is not even a single car park with disable parking tag owned by the hotel, shame on them. A room typically costs $300+ incl taxes. If I plan to spend a night at Baltimore harbor, I'll look for something that costs half as much and is just steps from the harbor.

Check in was efficient and respectful. The elevators were quite clean and reliably fast. Our room had a lovely view, we were upgraded to a harbor view. Baltimore can rival any city with it’s night view. Room was quite clean, well lite and well laid out. The beds were extremely comfortable with comfortable linens. 4 king sized fluffy pillows on each bed really make for a comfortable sleep. Ever been to a JW and had flimsy flat pillows, where you have to stack them just to get one pillow? This extra touch was appreciated. The bathroom towels were soft and large. The intuitive lighting in the closet and bathroom very nice. The coffee station was fully stocked with tea too! And the light there meant I could actually see what I was doing. A fridge meant my beer from the Guinness visit was cold. The hallway carpet and light was tasteful, instead of the early Las Vegas or palace of Versailles style I usually experience and deplore. The location is great, the valets were great. They forgot about us and quickly did all they could to make it right. Hey having the door opened for me in my Subaru it’s kinda nice. My only complaint was breakfast was a bit high priced, more worth $16 rather than $20. But hey who’s quibbling over 4 bucks…well technically I’m. I just ate more bacon to get my money’s worth. Just an overall great hotel, not overly fancy or showy. Just thoughtfully designed and respectfully serviced which makes it fantastic.

We've stayed at this hotel on 3 prior trips to Baltimore. After reading recent reviews, we called prior to arriving to ensure that they could accommodate our SUV in their parking and that valet was available. We were assure that valet would be working on our arrival date because it was the 4th of July weekend. The location is right on the waterfront and we were on the top floor with amazing views of the water and Four Seasons hotel and pool. The large windows in the room are the perfect addition to the hotel room decor. The rooms are clean and renovated.

Please note that the door to the bathroom does not lock and has an awkward crack that allows children to get in and peak in on their parents. This is important for travelers like us, who are visiting with children. Also the hot water setting on the sink was weird to get to the right setting.

We didn't eat any meals at the hotel (food choices were limited due to covid), as we took advantage of the proximity to Fell's Point (breakfast at the Blue Moon Cafe) and Little Italy (lunch at Amicci's). We also enjoyed crabs at LP Steamers. The Baltimore food scene is worth the visit alone.

The room had a beautiful view. We had a king suite. It cost about $500 per night.
We were there five days the maid never cleaned the room emptied the trash or left clean towels. There was no room service and all of the restaurants were closed. We won’t be staying there again.

WARNING ⚠️: Check your bill very carefully. Bait and switch rate increases and system "errors" with no explanation or apology.

Worst experience I've had at a Marriott property. The front desk manager, Nirva Dahal, was a real jerk about rectifing several "errors" they made in overcharging me for the room and valet parking. She said, "I don't want to call you a liar, but show me proof the rate is wrong." What in the gaslighting techniques is that?? Ms. Dahal interpreted me several times during the conversation and didn't lift a finger to take notes for follow-up or call the Ambassador team (who made the resources on my behalf). They charged me twice for valet parking in one night; Ms. Dahal suggested that I had two cars or a visitor before admiting that the valet system has been making errors. Again, no apology.

The property itself is only desirable due to location and views. They have minimal amenities: no pool, the Concierge lounge continues to be closed due to COVID. The restaurant is short staffed and has a limited menu. We were given breakfast vouchers for $50 because of the Concierge lounge being closed. Then they changed the breakfast options from a la carte to buffet style only without warning (charging $28 per person). So the breakfast voucher for two was useless.

Holes in the towels, the bathroom doors don't close all the way...minor inconveniences, but for what they charge, unacceptable.

Do yourself a favor and stay at another property. Far too many beautiful properties close by to have to deal with foolishness.

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. The view was amazing and the room was clean upon arrival. We used valet service - which was convenient. The bell hop service was extremely helpful unloading all bags and bringing them to the room.
The one downsize here was that there was no room service or maid services. The one perk about staying at a hotel is new towels and a clean room everyday - this did not happen. After only a few days with no service the room did start to feel dirty to us. Breakfast was chaotic, there were several weddings and parties staying there with sections blocked off and limited space for others.

We had a flight from BWI the next morning a decided to spend the night in the Inner Harbor after taking in a baseball game. The self-parking option was very nice, with the garage being just next door. Coming from the garage, you end up on the second floor of the hotel and need to go down a level to the lobby to check in. We didn't realize this and missed the elevator and ended up wandering the second and third floors (meeting rooms) before finally finding an employee who directed us where to go (the escalators were blocked). Upon finding the check-in desk, we were greeted by a very friendly host who checked us in. We had booked a city-view room, and were pleasantly surprised when we could see both the harbor and the city (26th floor). The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We decided to eat in Little Italy, which was a short, five minute walk away, and have ice cream just around the corner. When we walked back, there was a concert across the way so we sat and enjoyed the music from the benches outside the hotel. Exploring the area a bit more, there were plenty of restaurants and shops along the harbor as well as a museum and a place to rent paddleboats. All in all, this is a great location and I would not hesitate to recommend the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for a nice stay.

Good hotel in a great location. The club level rooms are especially nice when facing the water. But the hotel is still playing covid theater. They have no room service and no club level amenities 'due to covid'. Makes no sense other than cost savings for the hotel owner. With a fully open restaurant and policy that doesn't seem to really require masks any longer there is not reason they can't bring these things back now. Prices are the same if not more than pre pandemic, but the service is still less than full service.
