Detailed Reviews
My husband and I stayed at the BlancNoir to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The B&B itself was beautifully restored; incredibly comfortable, and an excellent value! The attention to detail and the hospitality shown by Tonia and Bill was exceptional. Tonia is an amazing cook and offered not only a lovely breakfast spread - both cold and hot made to order options - but she also serves "fivsies" - late afternoon wine and snacks. It is a lovely, relaxing custom, especially when served on their intimate little patio. The room is spacious and well laid out. You can get lost in the jacuzzi and multi-head shower for two! The public areas of the inn are clean, beautifully appointed and very welcoming. The neighborhood is in the center of Little Italy. We were a watertaxi ride away from the Inner Harbor, the Museum of industry and Fell's Point. We had a blast and look forward to going again.

Very comfortable room (called London) with a vast bed. Bathroom with large walk-in shower. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Breakfast freshly made. Great location and so much nicer than a chain hotel.

I stayed for several days while visiting Johns Hopkins. Previously I stayed at several of the most highly rated hotels in Baltimore. BlancNoir is far better. It is very clean and lots of restaurants and bakery nearby. The Inn Owners are very pleasant and accommodating. A terrific Inn.

If you are looking for a small B and B with a great location, this is the place. The rooms are large, modern, and pristine. Comfortable bed and linens. The bathroom is well appointed and has a large luxurious shower with body sprays and rain shower. It is located within walking distance to the aquarium and harbor. It is actually in Lttlle Italy on a street dotted with great restaurants.
The breakfast was terrific, with hot and cold selections. We enjoyed chatting with the owners who were very welcoming. We would definitely return again.

We reserved the entire B&B for my good friends bachelor weekend however, our reservation was cancelled through a miscommunication. We had nowhere to stay and the Yankees were in town. Tonia was most apologetic and while we were scurrying through hotel websites, she and her chef, Brian found us the most amazing inn in Fells Point. They could have left our situation at sorry, but Tonia went above and beyond what could have been expected. On top of finding us a place, she welcomed our entire party back for a delicious seafood brunch on the house. She showed us Baltimore hospitality at its finest. In these actions she completely changed a bad situation into an amazing one. We loved spending the time we could at the B &B so much that we have planned a girls weekend just so we can enjoy it at its fullest. If you're looking for an amazing place, people, food - BlancNoir has it all.

I went to Baltimore with my 15 year old son for the NCAA lax championships and we stayed in the San Francisco room. This B&B is beautiful!!! I almost wish we weren't so busy while we were in town so we could have spent more time enjoying this beautiful place. Our room was wonderful -- bed was deliciously comfortable. Sodas and snacks in each of the sitting rooms. Breakfast was terrific. Multiple fantastic Italian restaurants within 100 yards!!!
On the street parking is not an option. So, if driving, unload your things first. But, there is an inexpensive parking garage just 2 blocks away.

My significant other and I recently spent three nights in the San Francisco room and could not more highly recommend this beautiful B&B. I can't wait until our travels bring us back to the area so we can stay with Tonia, Bill and the sweet Birman kitties, Chloe and Cleo.
The Room: We stayed in the San Francisco room on the third floor which faces S. High Street. We carried our suitcases up ourselves even though they offered to carry them up. It's a steep climb so prepare to be a little winded, even if you are in good shape. The room is incredible, spacious and very quiet thanks to the double-paned windows. The entry way closet is large with shelves, drawers, hangars and extra space on the side to store empty suitcases. The bedroom features an extraordinarily comfortable king bed, nightstands, a chair for lounging and a desk that also holds the cable box for the awesome smartTV which we only used once. The bathroom is simply exquisite with double sinks and a gorgeous rainfall shower head with six jets. The shower head is positioned high enough the my 6'6 SO fit underneath it with no trouble. Temperature controls are digital and you can set the temperature and fan controls all with the touch of a button.
The rest of the house is tastefully decorated and very modern and clean. I spent an afternoon in the sitting room on the third floor reading travel magazines. The refrigerator in the sitting room provides water and sodas and there are both sweet and savory snacks available. I also spent some time on the rooftop deck making friends with Chloe one of Tonia's sweet Birman cats and we also sat outside on the patio in the evening to eat the gelato we picked up from Vaccaro's just down the street.
Breakfast: We ate breakfast in the dining room each morning. With delicious parfaits, cereal, meats and cheeses as a first course and a choice of a warm fresh made entree, we were spoiled well beyond your normal bed and breakfast offering. I had a spinach, mushroom and cheese frittata one morning with turkey bacon. I was sorely tempted by the orange marscapone waffles and french toast. The marmalade with fresh English muffins was delicious. You can order eggs any way you want them and have your choice of hash browns, and both sausage or bacon (standard or turkey versions). If you stay, take advantage of breakfast each morning even if you have get up earlier than you like.
Tonia was a wonderful host, we chatted with her several times, even though our daily activities meant we missed the wine and snacks at 5pm each day. I would have also liked to do the Segway tour but we also didn't have time to squeeze one in. This is a beautiful place to stay, right in the middle of Little Italy, in a modern newly renovated row house. I cannot more highly recommend staying here over any where else in the Baltimore area.

Our stay at BlancNoir was absolutely wonderful. Our room was spacious, spotless, and oh-so-comfortable. The shower was out-of-this world, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the innkeepers, Tonia and Bill, were friendly, fun, and gracious. The food was excellent and plentiful. The care and attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of our stay. We highly recommend staying at BlancNoir.

Fantastic accommodations and location. Very clean and well run. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would recommend for a place within walking distance of a number of nice restaurants and the water front.,

My husband and I just returned from a WONDERFUL 3 day stay at the BlancNoir B&B. We booked this place because it was near the Segway Tour Company, of which the owners of the B&B also own.
The Segway tour was great, with lots of history and sights to take in. It gave us a better prospective on what highlights to see.
Would definitely recommend the tour while you are staying there.
The B&B itself was open and updated with comfy accommodations and wonderful breakfasts.
The owners, Tonia and Bill were gracious hosts and told some wonderful stories of their travels in life. They made us feel like family.
Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay if you want to be near the harbor in Baltimore. Everything you would like to see and do is within walking distance.
Would definitely go back!!

Yes there are 2 rooms on the 2nd floor and 2 rooms on the 3rd floor as well. And the set of steps going up to the 3rd floor are a bit steeper to navigate. For me at least.
When we stayed the innkeeper gave us a parking pass to keep on the dashboard. Never had a reason to move the car so it was fine parked in front of the inn for 3 days.
