This was one of the best hotel stays that I have had a in a long time. The weekend was busy with different events, Otakon (event I attended), and Baltimore pride. The city was crowded and the Oasis in it all was my quiet and cozy room. The staff was very friendly it was a very warm and inviting atmosphere.... More

This hotel is very much located within the city of Baltimore. The hotel has six spots for which you can park and it is a first come first serve. SIX. You can choose to park next to the hotel (if you can find a spot) for an additional $25. When we arrived I was very upset about the parking. I... More

Dear Katy and Joe, I am very sadden to read this review. My team and myself work incredibly hard to provide our guests with superior customer service, as you can see in the recent 5-star reviews below. I can assure the readers that my dedication to this hotel would never allow me to be "argumentative" with any guest. For you... More

My husband and I were seeking something 'different' to do to celebrate receiving my doctoral hood and my 40th birthday, but still stay on a reasonable budget (we have 4 kids to feed at home lol). So, we took a chance on the Hotel Brexton on a whim just based on reviews and pictures. All I can say is that... More

My partner and I had the opportunity and the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Brexton for ten days in late June. He is an annual participant in the BSO Academy where classically trained musicians who have chosen other career paths can play with the professionals. We've alway stayed at the Peabody, which is wonderful, but decided to try out... More

Dropping my daughter off to MICA, so took the opportunity to stay in a historical hotel to get a feel for old Baltimore (instead of a larger chain with the usual amenities that my husband requires). The Brexton was everything we hoped it would be. Free WIFI, refrigerator and coffee maker in room. Stall shower (not tiled), but plush towels,... More

My husband and I come in for a weekend to visit with family. We would usually go to a Sheraton property because he works for them. It was last minute and could not get a room in downtown Baltimore. This recently renovated boutique hotel is located in the heart of the historic Mt. Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. The charming triangular footprint makes for uniquely shaped rooms, suites and an interesting pentagon elevator. There is a reference to the Duchess of Windsor who lived here briefly with her parents. Steps from the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and the Lyric Theatre, the... More

The Brexton is a turreted, red-bricked gem that was renovated in 2010, and is now part of the "Historic Hotels of America." Conveniently located on the cusp of Baltimore's Mount Vernon Historical District, about ten blocks north of the Inner Harbor, this hotel offers guests an interesting and (for me) pleasant stay. The Brexton, once a residential hotel, was also... More

We stayed here for one night. We got a free upgrade to a suite. The room was very good; spacious, good bed, good shower, well maintained. However no free wifi (USD 9 per something). Also, there is virtually no breakfast; a small, depressing room in the basement with nothing to offer.

We stayed 1 night at the hotel and were impressed with the uniquely designed rooms of this historical hotel. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and it was included in the cost of the room. The staff helped us find the best and cheapest transportation in the city and to Washington.
