The bed is marvelous as well as the breakfast. The hostess is both professional and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. This is one of the best B+B's in the USA. If you are in Baltimore stay here and you will understand where the charm in Charmcity comes from.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Owner Linda is so accommodating. Breakfast cannot be beat. My room was immaculate. Located just blocks from sports arenas…so book ahead. George Washington slept there…the home dates to 1790 with all modern comforts.

This was our second stay at Rachael’s Dowry, it’s one of our very favorite places. A beautiful historic B&B in the heart of Baltimore, close to so many places you can walk to. The common rooms as well as the overnight accommodations are welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully done. Breakfasts are elegant and absolutely delicious. Innkeeper Linda is warm and very accommodating. She has a great knowledge of the history of the area and is happy to provide recommendations for activities and dining. We highly recommend a stay if you plan to visit Baltimore!

This was perfect! We were married at the courthouse and didn't want to just return home for the evening. This made our day more special. This home is meticulously cleaned and maintained. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was magnificent and plentiful. Linda was so hospitable. I love the historic knowledge she shared about this home. There were complimemtary homemade cookies and sipping brandy we took advantage of too! Just an awesome stay.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Rachel's dowry over New Year's weekend 2023. The B&B is beautiful both inside and out. Ample off street parking is available and the location is just a short walk from most inner harbor attractions. Linda and her sister are wonderful people. Our room was clean, spacious, quiet and private. The breakfasts were fabulous as was our entire stay. Highly recommend.

This BnB is absolutely wonderful: an exquisite, historically authentic, cozy gem of a place. The innkeeper was on hand to attend to our every need: she welcomed us personally, provided excellent recommendations for local sights & cuisine, and prepared heavenly breakfasts. Many warm memories from this trip!

We have stayed at many B&B's and Rachael's Dowry is definitely a 5 star experience. Linda is a perfect host and as great cook! Breakfasts were wonderful. The house has a long and wonderful history. Facility and rooms are very comfortable and immaculately maintained. I recommend Rachael's to anyone going to Baltimore.

We stayed two nights in the Randolph Room on the 3rd floor of this historic B&B. Upon arrival, we parked in the reserved lot where we were greeted by Linda, the Innkeeper. After a very short walk to the private courtyard with its magnificent magnolia tree, she gave us a tour of the property and shared her vast knowledge of the home's history. Our room with private bath was cozy and clean, furnished with period antiques, and provided a peaceful ambiance even with a full house of guests. We were spoiled with complete breakfasts on a beautifully set table of fruit, scones, quiche, Eggs Benedict, juice and coffee. There were added treats of cookies and candy kisses during the day. We enjoyed the conversation and especially the time and hard work Linda put into keeping her guests accommodated. I forgot my toothbrush, but Linda took care of that, too! Thank you for a pleasant stay. This will be our go-to place whenever in Baltimore.

I was in Baltimore to attend a conference and Rachael's Dowry was the charming alternative to the usual conference hotels in the inner harbour area. The location is perfect; it's in walking distance from the stadiums and the inner harbour area. The property itself is an amazingly well renovated historic home equipped with all modern conveniences a guest could wish for. My room was spacious and had all the little amenities of a truly excellent accommodation (mending kit, ironing station, hair dryer....). Linda, the owner/innkeeper, is the heart and soul of Rachael's Dowry. She goes above and beyond to accommodate the needs of every single guest and her breakfasts are simply heavenly! I was surprised by a new dish on every single morning of my 5-night stay and she even tried out a new recipe to work around my dietary restrictions. Whenever I'll come back to Baltimore, this is the place I'll stay at.
