I have stayed here multiple times. Located in an old bank building with a massive marble foyer and quaint rooms. As far as I can tell, no two rooms are the same. Friendly, efficient staff, quiet building, above average complimentary breakfast. Compared to any other Holiday Inn I have encountered, this place is as quiet as a tomb! Solid walls. The one downside is the very limited parking. Get here early if you want to park on site. If you are in town without a car, you really owe it to yourself to try this place. Think of it as the Lord Baltimore Hotel's discount cousin. Having stayed at both, the decors are similar.

Holiday Inn Express Baltimore was very well located with ample Parking Space. The rooms were clean and had all the basic necessities required for a short trip. The staff were very helpful and cordial.

It is a heritage building. Looks like some old bank building was converted into a hotel. But one will like it. Good renovation has been done. Location though is walking distance to famous Baltimore harbor but would suggest stay closer to harbor area. Neighbourhood is not so good. Rooms are good. They have complimentary breakfast and 24/7 tea/coffee. A shuttle operate FOC to downtown. Staff pretty helpful.

Location and area are not that good. It is next to Homeless Center. However, Rixa, hotel representative was very attentive and cooperative. Attended my family needs efficiently and quickly. Hotel is clean, breakfast was varied, vending machine in third floor did not work. Nevertheless, when reported, water bottles were brought up to our room.

Hi Alma V, Thank you for posting a candid feedback from your recent stay with us. It is great to know that you were able to appreciate the service provided by Rixa as well as the cleanliness of our property and the variation of our breakfast. However, I was concerned to see that you were not impressed with our area, location, and the vending machine on the third floor. Our stay was for one night for a family of four. We visited Baltimore from New York to go to the National Aquarium. We booked the hotel via the ihg website and we booked the aquarium package. Upon arrival we were greated by a friendly employee at the front desk who upgraded our room and got us all set. The room was nice, not much of a view but it was clean and up to date. The staff was great for the entire stay and we ate breakfast downstairs in the morning which was pretty decent. On the morning of check out we kept our luggage at the hotel because we did not want to drive to the aquarium and park with our things inside. They're signs all around warning not to leave items in your car. We left our car and took the shuttle to the aquarium which also saved on parking which was…

The overall stay was decent. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and the preservation of the bank was well done! As a mother of a very curious toddler, I was impressed with how clean the hotel was. Every morning, the housekeepers could be seen dusting and cleaning. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive! The hotel shuttle was wonderful! The few negatives I have are the noise from the highway directly next to the hotel kept us up a lot. There were obvious drug deals and homeless people on the same street, which was concerning. I will say, it appeared that the hotel doors locked after a certain time, so you never noticed what was happening outside once you stepped through the front doors. Well done, Holiday Inn!

We stayed here for four nights while we visited the Inner Harbor. The staff was really friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle to take you to the hospitals or the Harbor about every hour and I suggest you ride with them. Unfortunatly all the neighborhoods around the Harbor have numerous homeless persons so it can be unsafe to walk especially at night, and parking is almost impossible at the Harbor.

The Holiday Inn Express Downtown is located in an old bank building that has been completely remodeled. The first impression of the lobby - gorgeous! The original bank vault is behind a petition at the check-in desk. A bronze mail delivery system has been converted to house the elevator buttons. The room we had was clean and immaculate. The highlight of our stay there was getting to know Tina at the front desk. She was friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and helped us tremendously in our sightseeing plans. The hotel provided shuttle service to and from the Inner Harbor and the driver was helpful, polite and friendly. Parking ($15/day) was conveniently located behind the hotel.

Rixa from the front desk was absolutely amazing! When checking in, I realized i did not have any photo identification on me. Since I work in a Resort/hotel I know how frustrating things like this can be, and she did a phenomenal job! The whole staff does a great job making your stay very personable. There were countless times that Rixa, along with other staff members, remembered our faces. That truly made this feel like home. The hotel is very clean and great for a one night stay or even for longer. Just a short 15 minute walk to the inner harbor :)
