My husband and I spent two nights at The Admiral Fell Inn earlier this month. It is kind of a cross between a bed and breakfast and a hotel. It is a very old building, but seemed to be well kept. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful, although they could have more than one person doing check-ins in the afternoon. We had to wait about a half-hour because the person checking in before us obviously had not done any research about the area before arriving and asked endless questions. The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was very small, which was to be expected from an older property. We were disappointed that their tavern was not open on the nights we stayed (Monday and Tuesday), as I expected that during the summer months they would be open every night. We enjoyed staying in Fells Point as opposed to the Inner Harbor, as it was more historic and laid-back. We would probably return here when we return to Baltimore, however would probably stay over a weekend when the tavern and more of the local restaurants are open.

This was our first time to Baltimore and I must say I thought this location was great. We would never want to stay in the Inner Harbor - perhaps he East Harbor. This hotel is located in the cutest town full of good food, bars and people. The hotel itself is old (which was a known) but old doesn't mean it has to be falling apart from neglect. Our room had the worst smell (I believe from the musty air system) - the bathroom no fan - no locking door - broken lights - gaps in the wood floors. Taking a shower meant having to remove all the toilet paper the lack of a fan or circulation meant you'd end up with a roll of soggy tissue..... Checkin at 4 was a joke - waited 3 hours to get a room! We weren't alone in that .... there were so many angry customers waiting for rooms. Only other option in the area seemed to be a fancy (beautiful) hotel which was very expensive - sad because I couldn't stay here again but really enjoyed the town.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice view of historic square. Walking distance to great bars and restaurants. Fabulous farmers market across the street Sat morning. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is bathroom a bit small, but it is an historic building after all. Would definitely return.

The Inn has charm, character and old world elegance. Beginning with the bell persons to take your luggage to your room so you can begin your Fells Point fun immediately, the first impression is that the staff here is focused on making your stay a good one. A great secret touch is the lobby elevator door that opens as you approach - is it the famed ghost, some sort of modern day sensor or the front desk staff who, no matter how busy, seem to press a hidden button every time to open the elevator door? Each room is named. The rooms are large roomy, comfortable and furnished with beautiful antique furniture. Each room has a coffee maker and flat screen TV also. Water pressure is great. Air conditioning is outstanding. The Inn is located at the end of Market Square directly across the street from the wharf, water and Water Taxi dock. There are excellent restaurants all within easy walking distance. We will stay here again.

Hello bsfkane, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us. We take great pride in being an older property in such a historic area of Baltimore. The Admiral Fell Inn complements the area well. I am very happy to be a part of a great team that aims to please our guests from the first impression to the last. That is the secret, we will not reveal who actually opens the elevator doors for you. We are an older property with some modern day amenities. Thank you again for staying with us at the Admiral Fell Inn, and we are looking forward to hosting you again in the future.

This hotel is kind of unique. The rooms are humble, nice, clean, The staff was great, there is a neat little bar in the basement. Easy access to the water taxis. Numerous great restaurants and bars in immediate area. Would definitely stay again. If you stay make sure you try the Points South Restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Entire menu Gluten Free and the food was phenomenal.

Hello Rcap44, Thank you so very much for choosing to stay with us. We like to think of ourselves as "Not your average cookie cutter", we love hearing that, so thank you. All of our rooms are very different from one another however all offer the same amenities. Our staff is wonderful every single one of them always aims to please. Our bar is considered the secret bar of Fells point as it is the only basement bar in the area, and we love being set aside from your other bars. Point South is excellent, i personally love it there, Grilled Salmon, ceviche, and some great wine selections. Not to mention Duck Duck Goose, who has an awesome Lamb Bolognese, and cocktails are also on point. We are looking forward to having you stay with us again.
