A comfortable inn in Maryland that is similar to the home of a well-to-do nineteenth-century sea captain.

This is one of the neatest and most interesting hotels at which we have stayed. The history, character, and ambiance of this hotel are significant. The staff is friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Our room was neat, clean, with a comfortable bed and flat screen tv. The tavern is the basement is exquisite and a cosy place for late night drinks. The escorted tours are not to be missed and are both fun and informative. The location is right on the waterfront, steps away from neat little shops and fantastic restaurants, including one of the finest seafood restaurants in Baltimore. Public transportation is just a few blocks away with regular service to the inner harbor. While it may lack a few amenities of the big, more expensive hotels in the area, you won't miss them! Staying here is a no brainer, and we will be back whenever we come to Baltimore.

We were initially concerned about booking after staying at a lousy Ascend hotel in Chicago, but so glad we took the chance. This is a wonderful historic hotel. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well cared for. Lots of historical pictures, documents, etc. throughout the hotel. The basement tavern is a real treasure - don't miss it. Hotel tours are fun and informative. Located right on the harbor, close to everything including the best seafood house in town. Public transit is a short walk away with quick service to inner harbor. Avoid the noisy, touristy areas that cost twice as much and stay here. You won't regret it! I might also add that I checked out and somehow left my cell phone behind. Staff shipped it out to me immediately and I had it back the next morning. Unparalleled customer service and exemplary of the lengths this hotel goes to for its customers.

It started when I entered. The server acknowledged me, but continued to gab to the 3 ladies from out-of-town. It took him several minutes to wait on me and when he did, my order wasn’t complete. I had to remind him! Then, my friend didn’t like her wine and he refused to take it back or take it off the bill. “Had to get manager approval” and then only took off $3 From the bill. It was a bad experience for us but I’m sure the 3 ladies at the bar loved the attention they got!

Selected this hotel for convenience and the fact it was pet friendly. Our room had a balcony which was a little dingy and two of the trees separating us from the other balcony were dead. The room itself was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Very cool old time feel. The front desk was a little shaky but overall ok. We went on a Sunday and left Tuesday so we never experienced the pub since it was closed. Great location since you can walk to anything quickly in Fells Point.

Love this place in the heart of fells point. Nice staff and great bartender, Steve! There is noise in the summer with the bar across the street, but never stopped me from sleeping. Clean place and reasonably priced for the location. If you want upscale at 2 to 3 times the cost, sure stay at the Pendry. The coffee in the morning is better than coffee at the Pendry. Keep coming back here. It's not perfect but I still love it and it has charm.
