We stayed here for a weekend get away thinking the location would be great and as part of the Curio collection, it would be relatively pleasant. We were surprised to find the rooms (and pretty much everything else) very tired and beat-up, with no valet or Sundry shop (although there is a parking garage nearby). The place also appeared to be understaffed as although there weren't many guests there it seemed so it wasn't a huge problem. With that being said the few staff we did encounter were all incredibly nice! Two onsite restaurants with bars are OK if you want to grab a drink but not much of a social scene. We booked on points which makes it a little better but for the money, I'd go somewhere else. My guess is this place is close to shutting down or is due for a major reno in the next few years (especially if they want to stay part of the Hilton family)

Beautiful hotel. Lobby is elegantly decorated. The premises were secured by needing a key to get into the front door each time we entered. We also needed the room key for the elevator. A bit inconvenient but thoughtful at the same time. The room was very clean and well appointed. We ate twice at McCalisters an Schmidt restaurant on-site. Great menu, service and waterfront dining atmosphere. My husband and I enjoyed eating by the harbor on the water at night. Evidently Baltimore, as a city, has a rodent issue. Tiny field mice at lighting speed ran around in the mulch just a couple of feet from where we ate both nights. There should be something the city can do about this. Surprisingly, I didn’t see anyone who was bothered by them bc they were small but I have friends who would have screamed and went inside. The server was thankful we didn’t see the larger rats that also frequent the outdoor area!! Honestly, none of that bothered me as much as the hospitality of the front desk staff. No smiles, didn’t greet upon arrival. Didn’t speak as we were coming or going for two days. Blank looks. Someone needs to train them in basic etiquette for the hotel industry. I expected a certain level of attentive hospitality for a Hilton Curio-designated property. The front desk representatives were not in line with the hotel price per night. For this, I deducted a point from 5 to 4. On the flip side, the staff in the breakfast room was delightful. The omelette chef Monte, I believe I have his name correct, and the young lady were quite the conversationalist. We enjoyed them on both days.

No major complaints except I upgraded to water view room prior to getting there, but my room was not water view. I was too tired to complain and by the time they found our luggage, I didn't want to change rooms. So that's on me.

Awful. They didn't care that my request were not met. I will never stay there again. They didn't care I didn't get the two beds I requested and then gave me a crappy pull out cart. I don't understand how they over book people.

When I arrived to check in to the Presidential Suite I was told the room was not ready despite check in time is at 4! This caused me to miss my 5pm meeting with colleagues. When I finally checked into room it was the filthiest room I’ve ever gotten as a frequent Hilton guest! I was disgusted and immediately sought out the manager. I had her come up to the room showed her all the drywall damage, the stained sheets, the filthy shower, the broken vanity light, the leaking faucet and the extremely dirty tub jets!! It was The worst!! I also have pictures! The manager Emile, had a cleaning lady with her who was very rude and had an attitude with my dissatisfaction. The manager sent the cleaner to clean the room again while I went to get coffee. I returned to the room looking the exact same. The sheets had been replaced with a new set of stained sheets!!! I tried to call other Hotels to find a comparable reservations but with it being the a holiday weekend nothing was available. My husband and I decided to go buy our own sheets from Target to put on the bed in order to comfortably sleep in the filthy bed! I asked the manager for a corporate number as she simply offered us a free meal for this unacceptable disgusting service, she gave me a Hilton Honors number who Informed me they couldn’t do anything and that I’d have to talk to the hotel manager. She new that, that’s why she gave it to me! Luckily, My mother works for Hilton so I was able to get the real information. I will be posting my experience and supporting pictures and receipt to your reviews unless I receive the dues compensation or points for this horrible experience!! I will also be reporting this to Hilton Corporate!

This place it truly a dump. Balcony door was off it's track and almost impossible to open, TV/internet band width so narrow a knat couldn't get through it, TV couldn't even watch a movie!!! Phone in room couldn't reach the front desk, no refrigerator, no hair dryer. Breakfast was a farce, didn't have enough waffle mix for two people to have waffles, was getting their napkins from the next door Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Hot was for tea was not even warm, Cracked tiles in the bathroom, not enough towels to even give us a bath mat, shower curtain fell off the rod on first us. Lie about a pool and health workout center..........they're both OFF SITE and even the pool off site was shut down!!! Need I say more????

I am a Hilton Gold Member and have also been a Diamond Member pre covid. I have been a member for almost 10 years. Never ever have I encountered a Hilton property as horrible as this one. I had earned a free weekend reward stay via Hilton Amex due to my spend on the card so I chose this property to use my reward at. Normally I check Trip Advisor but I did not and I'm kicking myself for not reading these reviews on here prior to booking. They are all spot on. We arrived at 7pm and there was a woman there who seemed to be very drugged out on the computer and ignoring me, another woman was there also, I was literally standing there for 5 minutes before she even asked me about my reservation. Well, they still have the covid plastic up around the desk and a ton of signs so you are completly blocked and it's hard to hear because she mumbled. I tried to check in and they did not have the 2 Queen Harbor View room that Hilton Honors actually booked for me! She wanted to give me a standard room so I said I want points or my reward back and she got the other woman who was the manager and they were fiddling around on the computer as though they have never used a computer before and then I said, I'll take a suite with a king and a pull out couch if you have that and so we got room 230. No view, horrible, disgusting view. I went back downstairs to complain about the view-see photo and the manager offered me 10K points and free parking so I obliged. She was actually very nice. The restaurants attached, Ruth Chris and McCormicks are not part of the hotel. The out of it girl that checked me in said they were and that I could use my $15 per person food and beverage credit there, well, we found out after we ate there that that is not the case and you can't even charge to your room! We got back from dinner now at 10pm and we still had no bedding for the pull out couch with the girl promised that it would be there a little after we had checked in, I had called several times before we went to dinner asking for the bedding. 3 hours later I had to go down there again and she made up excuses about how busy they are, etc. There is literally no one staying at this hotel! So then the housekeeping dude came over and started yelling at me for harrasing her! It was terrible, I then called hilton honors right away and explained this situation to them so they can refund me this certificate back. I'm still here writing this at 6:42am, I had gone downstairs at 6:15 since desk girl stated breakfast and coffee start at 6am. I felt like I was the only person in the entire hotel! No one at the desk, no coffee, nothing, a ghost town! They did have CNN blaring on the tv. I walked over to McCormicks and the door that's attached to the hotel had homeless folks all sleeping there. Very sad. So I caution anyone to never ever book this hotel, no matter how tempting it is because of how it looks on the HIlton site, Stay away, stay far away!!!

If you are considering this hotel because it is Hilton and centrally in Baltimore City, find somewhere else. There is a reason this place has availability. BUT, if you have profound sensory impairments of vision and taste and are not at all concerned about showering or eating—-this might be the place for you. The staff was usually never at the desk. I always had to wait for someone to realize I was waiting. I would even announce my presence by saying “hello” or “good morning”. Not a dealbreaker but who has time to waste 5-15 min every time you have a question or need a towel? Oh the towels… After being told 4 times across 18 hours that no towels were available, I pretty much lost respect for the staff. They only produced clean towels after I refused to leave the front desk. I wasn’t upset at first because sometimes supply issues occur—-crap happens, ya know? I’d be a hypocrite acting like I always have my laundry done. I was wrong. There must be some underground towel smuggling happening to cause such stingy dispersement of basic necessities. Breakfast was gross. The omelets that were made were significantly burnt. We finally gave up and just ate cold cereal after the second re-made burnt omelet. The tables were dirty and piled with precious customers food and plates. We watched other customers clear away trash to eat off of paper plates on dirty tables. There is no way anyone should have had to pay for that. By the end of the experience we just wanted to leave and take a shower because the experience was so gross. And we would have, if we had had clean towels. Do yourself a favor and enhance your stay by leaving this hotel for food. I recommend Teavolve, a local, black owned breakfast spot walking distance. It’s extremely unfortunate that this prime location is so clearly neglected, outdated and gross. I checked out early, never staying the final night I paid for. I had two choices 1) stay at this hotel for my final night or 2) drive 3 hours home at 12am after working all day. I chose to leave. I would have rather risked getting into a car accident instead of staying here again. On that note, there was one overnight front-desk guy who offered to walk me to my car at midnight when I asked if there was security to provide a safety escort. That was the only decent interaction I had with any other human inside of this hotel.

The new GM & District manage give lip service only. I was given the wrong type of room to start. When we got to the room, there was white hair and food all over the desk area and mold in the shower. They said they would clean it but all they did was sweep the hair and garbage. The GM said there were no more rooms to move us. The GM promised to refund 1 night and still hasn't.

Very nice hotel with a great location. Rooms could use an update. The staff were great & the room itself was very quiet. Asked for extra towels but they never came. Parking is not onsite so you need to find a garage. The one I found was $30 a night. Ruth Chris & McCormick and Schmick are in this hotel
