My husband and I booked this hotel for a one night stay. We decided to pay the extra for a balcony room. I was very disappointed. The balcony had not been cleaned in a while- there were cigarette butts on the floor, and the glass was dirty. The box spring on the bed had no covering, and it was stained. The coverlet on the bed had a hole. The fridge looked very old, and beaten up. This is such a wonderful location, and could be so nice with a little more effort! Just not what we expected from a Hilton. I wish I’d paid more attention to the reviews!

Hotel's Favorite
I was looking for a couple of spots to break up my trip home from Washington to MA and as a Hilton Diamond member I of course checked my app. I never really thought of Baltimore as a good place to stop on the water but this location was perfection. Loved the staff, the room, the location, the views, and the fact there were 2 great restaurants to choose from...McCormick & Schmidt and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! I loved my little balcony so I could enjoy a little bit of sunset....I say little bit because it was overcast or drizzling most of the time I was there but that didn't stop me from enjoying the view.

I walked into my room which was 306 today Sept 25th and walked out within 15 min. Absolutely disgusting property. Stains all on the sheets, smells like it hasn’t been cleaned in a decade and the best part is that they put a Hilton Clean sticker on the door. In no way shape or form was this clean. Especially in these times of COVID, this property should be completely ashamed of its shape. Do not stay here! Hello Marriott!

When my husband suggested staying in a hotel in Baltimore, MD for a night to take our 5 year old son to the aquarium, I was nervous to say the least with the current pandemic - however, I knew with my experience with Hilton, I would at least stay somewhere I was comfortable and where they were taking appropriate cleaning precautions.  I've attached photos of our room. I'm more than disappointed that I had this experience with a hilton brand. I've stayed at Hiltons for all of my business/family travel for years and I am an honors member. Room Door: Our room door had something splattered all over it - my 5 year old son, actually took a washcloth and started to clean it off...Air Conditioning Unit: The amount of dust on the air conditioning unit after I ran my finger on the topWall: Some weird splatter on the wallDusty Phone - The phone had dust on it, which means it wasn't being sanitized for the next room occupantHeadboard - the photo speaks for itself, I could not believe how dusty it was, not to mention hand prints on the actual headboard. Tissue Box: Dust. The finger print is mine to show where the dust was.Shower Head: Clearly not clean! These are not water marks from cleaner, this shower was not cleaned.  I dont know how I can expect the room to be properly sanitized when so much was overlooked - I did not take a photo of the lip prints on the sliding glass door, and the crumbs on the floor that were not vacuumed.  To make things worse, when my husband was returning our keys to the front desk, shortly after we had checked in - the front desk manager wasn't even wearing a mask!

I had an appointment at JH so we took road trip with a family. I reserved two rooms and checked in 48 hrs prior selecting two rooms. Upon arrival rooms were switched off placing us on separate floors. I was grateful when front desk switched us to adjacent rooms. However, rooms did not feel clean at all - I end up walking over to CVS (10 min there and back) and we spent time wiping down every surface. Proximity to aquarium is amazing so as to Shirley’s were we end up getting our food most of the time. Be prepared to be asked for money at every turn. I pushed wheelchair with my son and we seemed were left alone but my husband with my youngest were asked constantly. There was no cable 3 days we were there but somehow there was cable in a lobby. Luckily I brought laptop so we had entertainment. It was high 90s so we took a break from exploring during the day and it was nice. Restaurants nearby but you’d be asked 10 times to hand over that food on the way back to hotel. I tried GH one night and guy drove our food around for two hours from a restaurant 15 minutes away so I cancelled. Front desk wasn’t manned and there was no bell so I found myself hanging out waiting to be acknowledged for 10 minutes plus. Although front desk was friendly but it felt like I was a bother. Beds were soft and comfy. I’m positive housekeeping skipped bathroom cleaning as there were hair in both rooms. Towels were thin and scratchy. Anterior outdated with its velvet on furniture - I can’t imagine those chairs can ever be clean. Lastly, someone was murdered/died right outside our window and my young son (we celebrated his birthday day before) discovered scene when he opened curtains in the morning. We got 10% discount for lack of cable during our three day stay but I must admit this was the worst hotel stay - cleaning supplies I had to buy and psych bills for my kid is just awful. I’ve been with my son to Baltimore 3 times and he loved it until this time - now he refuses to come along. Other hotels nearby with better amenities and just few minutes walk to Inner Harbor. I got COVID negative after this visit so not all bad.
