Tired 80s decor and outdated systems. Despite the good location, it's not really a place I would stay again. During a 4 day stay, for some reason, they asked me to change rooms on the last night (something to do with the conference rate) and then they charged me for both rooms. How does 1 person stay in 2 rooms? They have refused to reimburse me insisting that they did not overcharge me even though it is clearly on my bill.

Hotel's Favorite
Beautiful hotel. Lobby is elegantly decorated. The premises were secured by needing a key to get into the front door each time we entered. We also needed the room key for the elevator. A bit inconvenient but thoughtful at the same time. The room was very clean and well appointed. We ate twice at McCalisters an Schmidt restaurant on-site. Great menu, service and waterfront dining atmosphere. My husband and I enjoyed eating by the harbor on the water at night. Evidently Baltimore, as a city, has a rodent issue. Tiny field mice at lighting speed ran around in the mulch just a couple of feet from where we ate both nights. There should be something the city can do about this. Surprisingly, I didn’t see anyone who was bothered by them bc they were small but I have friends who would have screamed and went inside. The server was thankful we didn’t see the larger rats that also frequent the outdoor area!! Honestly, none of that bothered me as much as the hospitality of the front desk staff. No smiles, didn’t greet upon arrival. Didn’t speak as we were coming or going for two days. Blank looks. Someone needs to train them in basic etiquette for the hotel industry. I expected a certain level of attentive hospitality for a Hilton Curio-designated property. The front desk representatives were not in line with the hotel price per night. For this, I deducted a point from 5 to 4. On the flip side, the staff in the breakfast room was delightful. The omelette chef Monte, I believe I have his name correct, and the young lady were quite the conversationalist. We enjoyed them on both days.

This hotel needs to be closed and majorly Renovated. No excuse for this drab depressing place to keep going. Series’s no great. The staff honestly look like they don’t want to be working there. It honestly felt like they thought they were doing me a favor by serving me.

Definitely sub-part hotel and experience (not at all Hilton quality). Surly staff, forgettable breakfast and sub-optimal room service. No gym or safe access to one either, and a bare lobby. Not worth paying $350 per day!

First problem was that we could not check in after being told over the phone that the room would be ready. Second, was told over the phone that we would not be charged for more than 1 day of parking after informing them that we would be parked for a few hours extra because of a football game we are attending. At check in was told this is not true and that we we would have to pay extra. Third, we just saw 2 mice running through the room. Informed staff and was told there were not other rooms with 2 beds available. Staff then came to room and placed several traps but am still very uneasy and unhappy. Won’t be staying here again. we saw 2 mice in the room and no other rooms available. Maintenance helped by placing traps but still very unhappy.

My wife and I visited this hotel in August, A great convenient Hotel on the waterfront. A large clean king room. Easy check-in welcomed as a Hilton gold member. A close parking lot. Room was clean, bathroom a bit dated. A great social hr where you can get beer and wine along with food. Breakfast was extra. Convient to the inner Harbor. Nice views of the Harbor. Easy check out.

I had a balcony room with a harbor view. I arrived at the hotel early and the room was ready. The staff is awesome! They are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. My eggs were cooked exactly the way I ordered them! The afternoon reception is such a nice touch. I also love that two great restaurants are accessible from the hotel lobby.

Very bad experience, our bed was extremely dirty, please see picture , we called they came and changed the bedding, but still unacceptable:( The TV remote, was so filthy, that we had to ask for replacement... We got it 3 h later: I was going to let this go , But, unfortunately, like it was not enough, the staff at the front desk ( especially one lady) was so unprofessional and rude to us. This employee needs to be retrained asap, in order to learn what Hospitality is about! Her behavior was the total opposite of it! I always favor Hiltons Hotel for there usually good reputation ... but this one is a disgrace! The location is amazing, but there is plenty of hotels very close by, so do not book at the 5 pier, your vacation will be ruined:( very bad look for the Hilton brand !

My experience was horrible. I paid for a double room and the king suite. The king suite was 623/per night. There were water stains everywhere on all the wall paper. The wall paper was falling down in some places. There were nails exposed in the walls where I think they had artwork at some point in time. The balcony was unsafe, there were cords or something and puddles of water on the balcony. The balcony was on the roof where the air conditioners were located. The TV unit was sitting in an old case and the tv was too small for the opening so they draped a black tablecloth around the tv. The vents looked as if they weren’t cleaned in years. We checked In and checked out within 45 minutes. That room wasn’t suitable for anyone to stay in. I will attach pictures.
