Booked a cabin to share with another couple. Checked cabin (121) before bringing suitcases in. The cabin was extremely small. Only one bed was in a room you could close off. Main bed was in alcove wide open to kitchen and seating area. No privacy for sleeping, dressing. Bathroom subpar. Cabin had a musty odor. Went back to front desk... More

OK, but not great -- pluses were reasonably clean and value priced, negatives were tiny, cramped bathroom and sort of noisy. There aren't a lot of choices for a motel in Dover so this may be as good as it gets, but it was not a highlight of our trip.

The hotel is dated but clean and very convenient. It caters to outdoorsman and is very close to gas stations, grocery and restaurants. Staff was very polite and my room had a refrigerator and microwave that was convenient. I would stay here again.

We have stayed here several times. Always good service. Great hotel for hunters or fishermen. Nice price. Lots of local restaurants. Land between the lakes is a must see. Lots of family activities. Civil War stops in downtown area.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins, which had a nice kitchen area and 2 bedrooms. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was left on so when we first arrived it was heavenly (especially with the 95 degree weather!). Our cabin was nestled behind the hotel next to the pool, but was very quiet,... More

Wi-fi did not work at the cabins. Continental breakfast was just soggy miniature doughnuts. Pool was only five feet deep. Everything else was good. Had grills at a pavilion we were able to use. Walking distance to a piggly wiggly and to a gas station that sold beer and to a barbecue joint. Over all I would stay again.

We stayed here two nights a couple weeks ago. The rooms were over priced. The fridge did not work. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, with springs felt in both beds in the room - mine had springs across where my lower back was - I finally lay on top of pillows (including one from the car to make it work).... Reading the reviews I expected a down-at-the-heels motel. Since I only had a choice of two motels in Dover,I chose the Dover Inn. GOOD CHOICE. The room was large,VERY clean, had a microwave,refrigerator- not expected at this price. To find a hair dryer and an iron/board was exceptional. It was also quieter than the usual motel. If I am in... More

A great place to stay for fishermen, hunters, or visitors to the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area. Located 1/8th mile from The Trace which runs through LBL and within a few minutes of Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake boat ramps and marinas. They have traditional motel rooms that have microwaves, mini frig, iron-ironing boards, and hair dryers. They... More

Great family (American) owned property. Clean and close to all the area attractions. Everyone I met always asked if there was anything else I needed - even extra cleaning rags to wipe down my motorcycle.
