Facility was clean, well cared for and easy! The bed was very comfortable which was an unexpected bonus. We only wish we had packed our camp chairs as the night sky was incredible, might have sat out all night. Our mistake was not stopping by the unit after checking in to turn on the air con. When we arrived after... More

Wonderful place to stay - very little noise from the road and plenty of space in the room for one or two people. There is no bathtub, and as previous reviews have mentioned, the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink, but if showers are okay, you're good to go. Wi-fi reception is excellent and not to be taken for... More

We wanted to use Fort Davis as a "home base" for sightseeing in the area of Southwestern Texas. This lodge was the perfect choice. The rooms are small and somewhat spartan (no phone and no TV), but they had good Internet connectivity and the room was very much comfortable and suited to our needs. The staff was very friendly and... More

We spent a week here and couldn't have been more pleased. Cabins are well maintained and very clean. The bathrooms are quite small but work well, and the sink is located out in the main room. Each cabin has a small fridge, micro and coffeemaker. This is a great place to relax. No phones or tv in cabin; but wifi works... More

Surprisingly clean, with really comfortable beds and bedding. Sure enough the bathrooms are almost travel trailer sized, & the one sink is in the Kitchen, but the water is hot and plentiful and the kitchen works well (remember to bring your own utensils, pots, pans, etc.). Quiet. STARRY nights! Little light pollution (please leave your porch light OFF, the boogie... More

My grandson and myself had a very enjoyable time. We had attempted to locate other place to stay closer to Big Bend. Everything was booked up all the way to park due to it being Spring Break. I found your location and you have availability for two days, we extended our stay for three additional days. We are glad we... More

The room was large; the bathroom small. As previously pointed out, the only sink is in the kitchenette (fridge and microwave) area; that's a bit awkward. Toiletries (shampoo, lotion, soap) are provided, a hairdryer is not. The A/C, heat and wifi worked fine. There is no television in the cabin (fine by me). There is no daily housekeeping which is... Cabin was nice and clean. Bath was very small but also very clean. Beds were very comfortable, we slept great. Owners were very nice. Would go back again. Be sure to visit balmorhea state park. Only a 30 minute drive from here.

Enjoyed a three-night stay here...the location was great for visiting Marfa, Big Bend National Park, Balmorrhea State Park, Ft. Davis and McDonald Observatory. It was quiet and seemed clean. The only drawbacks were that the bathroom is truly tiny and the water pressure was very low in the shower. It was a good deal for the price. Knowing get what... More
