The reviews of this very run down and dirty house are extremely misleading. The location is downtown but that is about all it has going for it. The pictures on the website must be at least 10 years old although if one looks closely at the user pictures, the mold is the apparent. Our room smelled awful and everything in...

Fantastic spot to stay in Astoria, the house is lovely and well kept. The owners are gracious and make staying with them feel like home. We were given keys to get in and out of the house and our room which made coming and going very easy. The room was spotless but has great old charm and character. It also...

We were given the top floor. It's a long walk up for older folks but worth it. You get the entire top floor! Large bathroom with claw foot tub, cosy tv/reading area (with a collection of DVDs, including "Short Circuit" which was filmed partly in Astoria), comfy viewing window over the river, complete with telescope and binoculars supplied. And above...

We stayed here 2 nights recently for the Astoria Regatta. It's easy walking distance to everything downtown. Astoria has lots of good restaurants, cute little places to poke around in and close to lots of sightseeing. The owner was wonderful and so were the breakfasts. We stayed in the Starlight Suite which was on the 3rd floor (no elevator )....

Ms. Becky was a great hostess. The b&b was perfect. Had a great time. Close to every thing. We will be back for sure. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean and quiet. Great breakfast too. Loved it!!!!

I chose the Franklin for its convenient central location and affordable rate. What I didn`t expect was such an incredible room with expansive views, comfortable furnishings, beautiful breezes cooling the uppermost room where we stayed and such a charming host. She made it special. I highly recommend it.

We stayed in the Majestic Suite complete with kitchenette and it was perfect. The bed is very comfortable and the room had old world charm. The owner, Becky Greenway, was raised in Astoria and was very helpful in making recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The house is perfectly located close to town but quiet for restful sleep. We...

We had a lovely stay for a romantic long weekend. The location was perfect for walking down town and to the river. From our room, on the top floor, the view was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the claw foot tub was nice and the breakfast was good. Our complaints: - the pillows could use replacement. - the shower is...

shabby to say the least.........the carpets were full of fleas as becky has dogs. Also, the mortuary across the street starts its operations about midnight, so we could hear the operation fireing up if the windows were open..............would never stay again as we are still recovering from the flea bites....................

We notified the B&B we were gluten free. So we got fruit, scrambled eggs and a slab of meat for every breakfast. No presentation not even some salsa to perk up very bland eggs. The room itself was not bad, but the whole place is looking quite shabby and the neighborhood is run down. Very disappointing B & B experience.
