My husband and I just celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at the beautiful & classy Cannery Pier Hotel in Astoria, Oregon. This hotel is all about the VIEWS. We enjoyed the well-appointed room with oversized claw-foot bathtub. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. This hotel is an oasis of calm, grounded elegance. We didn't want to leave. Thank you...

This hotel would be perfect if they could add some sort of onsite restaurant/bar. They do have a wine and cheese reception at night which is a nice touch. It would be better if there was another place to go in the hotel besides the lobby which has nothing to it. Customer Service is some of the best I have...

This hotel is fantastic! The rooms are wonderful and the fireplace is also your heat . The bathrooms have showers and a claw foot tub. You are righ over the water and have binoculars to watch the ships coming and going to the Pacific Ocean, Evening wine hour is nice and breakfast was fine.

Nice water front room, loved the claw foot tub to relax in while still being able to see the river. I only wish they had an on-site restaurant with room service. And maybe if more ship traffic traveled by during day time hours. The view was great. The staff however, they could use some work. I'd never seen so many...

The Cannery Pier Hotel is an outstanding hotel on the Columbia river in Astoria, Oregon. The staff is attentive and friendly, the hotel is well maintained and the rooms are well appointed with beautiful views. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to get away for a few days or, like us, is passing through to...

We were able to get a government rate here while staying in Astoria for official travel. Boy were very fortunate to have that. This is a top notch hotel, with a beautiful setting. The rooms are immaculate and luxurious. Each one has a balcony overlooking the Columbia River. Add to that a very friendly and helpful staff, and you couldn't...

Stay here, please. Before you depart, you will be planning your next visit. Beautiful rooms, helpful and knowledgable staff, relaxing views as you watch ships literally pass before you. A bald eagle sat on pilings for 2 days while we were there -- again, right outside our balcony. And an item we accidently left behind was shipped to to us...

It is a very lovely and unique hotel, I was ecstatic to finally be able to stay there for a few days. Staff was very nice and helfull, hotel is a very inviting and beautiful space. As the "On the Fence" review observed, rooms lack cleanliness and some things needed to be fixed around the room, seems like hotel is...

We made reservations at the Cannery Pier Hotel because it was highly recommended by some friends of ours. It's a very beautiful place, The front desk staff was extremely professional, well trained and very friendly. We had a very nice room, with a king size bed, and a large, rather unique bathroom, which features a large claw foot tub, a...

We pass through Astoria once a year for business and always take a few days here at the Cannery to re-charge. Nothing in the world like turning on the fire on a chilly winter day and watching the Columbia River's ever-changing panorama. Others here have elaborated and articulated just how great this property is, but let me just also add...
